Frustration was starting to take over me ,i had been here for so long yet this man hadn't shown his face,nor explain to the real reason i was here, the girl who i learned was Stacey had woken up, she had eyebags on her eyes,and her body looked really frail she was really weak and my Luna insticts took over and i just wanted to protect her from everything but unfortunately i couldn't even touch the bars. The foot steps made Dante jump up immediately,he always had his guard up thats the only thing i realise and i know the life of a rouges you never let your guard down.

"Good morning " the same man said smilling brightly ,he had worn his lab coat as he approached us and stood exactly in the middle,his smile never leaving his face.

"What are we doing here,why are you keeping us alive"i asked he folded his arms walking to where i was he stood right in next to the bars leaning on them.

"This is the biggest boost of my career ,am studying warewolf ways" he said looking around before me " especially you,you special i want to expirience each and every step of the way how a warewolves are during pregnancy" instantly my hand wrap around my waist protectively like he will harm me.

"So basically we lab rats" i asked stepping forward but he quickly stepped back,my anger escalated. "what did you do to her" i asked.

"She is okay i did some few test on her"i scoffed immediately at that.

"Look at her she is already weak" i said he walked to the corner of the room doing whatever before returning.

"Are you planing to let us go or what"i asked bitting my lower lip preventing myself from showing how scared i was.

"Will see"he said before turning to walk away but quickly returned back "am not a bad man am just a man who is just looking for a breakthrough career wise" he said ,my lungs contrasted as i coughed the smoke that was slowly seeping through the room filled my nostrils going straight to my lungs.

"What did you do" i asked unable to keep my eyes opened.

"Nothing much just don't fight it" his voice was slowly fading further away from me it sounded distant yet i could hear him clearly.

"Sooner or later you'll have to shift i know you species can't resist" he said as i clench my teeth tightly like they going to shutter as the burn on my wrist gotten worse but i didn't want to let him see me at my weakness.

"I can't i already told you as you said am pregnant guess you missed that detail right" i said he sigh walking back yet again my body just couldn't handle the pain, i lied ofcause when you pregnant you cannot shift but on the 4th month which is the last month,yes ware's spend only 4 months pregnant the baby develops quicker than an human child could, at 2nd month the baby is already developed. I yet again couldn't wrap my head around the idea of having a life inside me, still surreal that the one night led to a human growing inside me but i vow to protect my child no matter what , and I'll always put her/him first , at that moment i knew that Josh was too toxic for me i had took the decision should i make it out alive i will put him/her first.

"Can i ask"i said when i saw that my fight to free myself was hurting me further and i knew the burns will take time to heal.

"Sure"he said not looking at me writting whatever he was on the paper board that was on his hands every torturous thing he had been doing on my body was recorded down and my body was getting weak.

"Are you part of the clan of wolves"i asked capturing his attention he stare for few minutes.

"I don't know who those are but am just a guy who is doing a research "he said i dropped my shoulders.

"You cant keep feeding me wolf bane ,you yourself said you studying the nature of a pregnant wolf ,if you don't stop the pup won't survive"i said grasping for straws.

"Until you shift and i get that on the computer the whole shift then i will be easy on you but for now you useless to me , if i wanted to study human nature i would have on the actual human you actually watsing my time,i had to record everything and here you are not cooperating "he said focusing back on his book.

"Why me,why the three of us out of everyone " i asked he pushed the pen to the board and putted it on the table next to him.

"Because you different,for the longest time I've been trying to study Ware's for 20 years now being unsuccessful but i did study few of them and they the same but was unable to carry out more research towards them but i came across something on my scouting, you all not the same , am trying to find out why you different,why are you rare" i chuckled at that.

"Thats trying to study why your god created you humans with different races" i said he shook his head immediately.

"Don't compare human with you dogs"i scoffed and winced at that word , as i said before it was an insult being compared to a dog. "Its different we were created this way"

"Exactly we were created this way too" i said jumping in on his statement.

"If so why in 100 they probably 3 of you , if so why would a wolf had to be destroyed because it deemed as dangerous,if so why does a women die giving birth just because the should only be a single of them" i closed my mouth trying to piece everything together even i didn't know why.

"How do you know all these" i asked curiosity taking over me.

"Like i said ,I've been a shadow scounting over for 20 years now" creepy if you asked me, my eyes yet again were shutting down because of the weakness my body felt and the wolf bane eating my wrist,i knew those wounds would never heal.
