I looked over at Logan sleeping in the passenger's seat. His head was resting on the window and his arms were crossed loosely over his stomach.

I rested one hand on top of the steering wheel and propped my elbow up on the window, feeling the wind passing through the crack in the window.

The road was desolate at this time of night. Though I had no idea where I was going, it felt nice to just drive and let my thoughts go free.

The radio was playing on low in the car, creating a relaxing ambience.

Logan stirred, his eyes opening and closing slowly before he yawned and stretched out his arms.

"Morning, sleepy beauty." I greeted him with a chuckle.

He chuckled sleepily. "Morning." He grumbled with a small grin. He looked out at the road and then at the radio. "What time is it?" He asked, sitting up completely.

I focused my eyes back on the road. "Three past four." I told him, lights from the only car I've seen in the past 3 hours, blinding me for a moment.

His eyes widened and he shifted in his seat. "Pull over, I'll drive while you get some rest." He said, looking over at me.

I shook my head and continued driving. "You're still injured and doped up on medication. You'll kill us." I glanced over at him, my eyes hard.

He sighed knowing it wasn't up for discussion. "At least pull into a hotel for the night? Please?" He asked, his eyes filled with worry and care.

I sighed and knew I couldn't argue with him. Plus I might've been just a little tired after driving for 8 hours straight.

"Fine, I'll stop at the next one we see." I gave in.

His lips turned up into a grin and he sat back in his seat. "Where are we anyways?" He asked after a moment of silence.

I pointed at the sign we were about to pass.

Welcome to Ohio

"We're just passing through and then I was thinking we could go to Vegas." I said nervously, pulling my lip between my teeth.

I glanced over at him. He kept his face still at first. I always hate that I can't tell what he's thinking sometimes. Then his face shifted into a smile and he turned towards me, placing his hand on my knee. "Are you taking me to Vegas so we can get hitched?" His eyes twinkled with mischief and playfulness.

I laughed wholeheartedly. "No, although that doesn't sound like such a bad idea." I looked over at him with a smile and raised my eyebrows up playfully.

He leaned closer over the center console. I glared playfully at him. "Stop! I'll crash!" I laughed as he peppered kisses on my cheek.

He laughed and pulled away. "Fine." He pouted fakely, sulking like a child in his seat.
