She started doing this after leaving the Navy Seals after eight years. She is a POW survivor. She even is hired by the military. She has a stellar reputation going to other countries and even dangerous places to get the an individual home to their loved ones.

I'm just a girl. A girl who somehow ended up being kidnapped by the kidnapped. My brother joined a gang a while back and now we all live underground. I know, cosy right? Not. My brother loves me and as do I. But sometimes it gets hard. I absolutely hate his stupid boss, Mason. He kind of has a thing for me but in a creepy stalker fashion. He just.... I don't know. He might not act it all the time but he definitely looks it with his glowing blonde hair and deep light blue eyes. Then the kidnapped. Well, I guess Thomas is ok. He's someone you can talk to. But then there's Zandek who both me and Raphael hate. He nearly killed me for gods sake. He doesn't talk much but when he does it's just a sarcastic mess. But he is cute with his black floppy hair. I don't know. He is there when it's life or death. I guess he's not bad. But maybe it's just me. Let's see how this turns out. WARNING: mature language and inappropriate scenes

She ends up staying because there is nothing left for her back home but this choice ends up bringing with it possibility of a new life, love and quite possibly her own death. Her name was Gabriella Quintanilla. She was a senior in high school during this time. She had the looks, all the boys, the popularity, the clothes, and even the grades. And in no way was she ignorant of any of these things--quite the opposite. She knew that she was above average in most categories of life, and had no problem reminding people repeatedly of that fact. I'm not going to lie---I didn't like her. Not at all. To be completely honest, I threatened to kill her with my bare hands. And the scary thing is, I meant it. I wanted her to die. I imagined dark fantasies of the light fading from her eyes right before my own, her pleading for me to spare her life. And in my fantasies, I wouldn't listen and I didn't care. She had tortured me for five years and I was utterly and simply sick of it all. Sick of her. My animosity towards Gabriella was no secret among my peers. Not many people liked her, so it's not like I stood alone on the concept. However I was the only one who voiced a threat. THE threat. The threat that got me on a suspect list in some cop's notepad.
