There are no flowers on their graves.
There's nothing to mark the life they lived as slaves.
No tombstone; no cross; only loss;
Loss of souls sentenced because of their 'flaws'.
Rainbow hearts ripped because the bearers weren't hallow.
Lovers left nameless because they were deemed a shame.
And due to that shame their graves have no name.
There was never a funeral to mark their death.
No one helped them when they took their last breath.
They were dumped in a ditch in the dead of night.
And their plight forgotten by morning light.
Mothers mourn their loss in secret;
Father's face their failiurs in regret.
They had sided with the rest, and in peace their kids will never rest.
Brandon's dead because he wore a bra and dress.
Leila was raped because she kissed another girl.
Jack is bereft because his lover was a guy.
These are some names behind those nameless graves.
