Imagine you and Brooke recently got together and have been dating for a month but you guys wanna keep it a secret for now. But you almost let it slip out you guys are in a relationship.
time recap ~ one month earlier ~ brookes pov: Me and y/n have been friends for a very long time, you could say we were best friends. We didn't know each other in our childhood. We actually met in seventh grade, she was in my history class and I struggled really bad in that subject so she offered to help me. And ever since then we've been attached at the hip, we even went on family vacations together! Her family loved me and my family loved her. I loved her to. I mean obviously we're best friends. But the thing is I think I loved her a little bit to much. Not just as in a friend way, in like a crush way. The past few months i've been having these feelings, but she can't know it would probably ruin the friendship we have now. Or maybe she feels the same?
~ time skip to now ~
Brookes pov: Y/n and I are currently at a diner. We both didn't have anything to do for dinner plans. While we were eating we saw Xavier and Montana walk in. They saw us and came and sat in our booth, Xavier my y/n and Montana by me. We both kind of just broke off into separate conversations with them. Y/n kept on laughing and i'll admit I did get a little bit jealous, but I just brushed it off. Xavier and Montana ordered and soon all four of us were eating together. We mostly just talked about random things while we ate. Once we were all done eating and payed we were thinking about where to go. We decided to go get icecream. We drove their and went inside the icecream parlor. All of us got a chocolate icecream cone and sat down. Halfway through eating our icecream, y/n said something that made me shush her, hoping Xavier and Montana didn't hear her. " Yeah actually me and Brooke's month and a-" y/n said but I quickly shushed her. Y/n went wide eyed and smiled at me, I of course returned the smile and rolled my eyes playfully. "Man you guys are weird, but we gotta go see ya guys" Montana said as her and Xavier got up and left. "Home?" Brooke asked "yeah, let's go" y/n said. And with that the couple got up, elbow in elbow so it's not obvious they're dating, and went home
