Those blue ocean eyes call to me every night.
but, I could do nothing even when it was within my might.
She was tested and tried,
But only I ever wiped her tears dry.
She said, "I'm lost"
"Sometimes it's a way better option than having to face it head on", I replied.
Oh if I had been there for you that day,
but I couldn't cuz I was away.
You had called for me,
but I gave someone else the priority.
I'm so sorry I couldn't be there,
Maybe then we would have been here.
You made me promise to never quit,
But why was it you that walked out first?
