The morning came, and I was still awake.

I got out of the bed quietly and got dressed, I wore my sweat pants with a form fitting tank top, I put my hair up in a messy bun and walked out of the house, I made sure to stop and get a coffee for myself.

I was three hours early.

I sat at my desk and stared at the wall as I sipped my coffee and let tears roll down my face.

"Alyssa?"
I jolted in my seat

"Hey" I wiped my face

"You okay?"

He walked into my office and sat across from me

"I'm okay" I nodded

"You're not, do you want to talk about it?"

"No" I shook my head as my lip trembled

He stood up and walked around my desk, he held me in his arms as I started sobbing into his chest, I clung to his shirt as he wrapped his arms tightly around me

"He came home at midnight and he had scratches down his back" I mumbled into his chest

"Aw, I'm so so sorry. You don't deserve that"

He petted my head as he rubbed my back

"He didn't tell me good night, he hasn't kissed my lips in months except when we have company but he always kisses my head and he didn't even do that!" I cried harder "it sounds so stupid" I shook my head

"Look at me" he lifted my chin and wiped a tear from my cheek "it doesn't sound stupid. It sounds like a woman that's heart broken, she's spent almost half her life with someone she genuinely loves, and has been betrayed by the one person that is supposed to be there for her. It isn't stupid"

I nodded at his words "thank you" I whispered as I went to pull away from him, he pulled me in again and held me tightly against his chest
"You're going to be okay"

I started to cry again

"You haven't eaten yet, and chances are you haven't slept. I'll cancel all of our classes today, close the studio, and let's get you some food alright?"

"No, Hos-"

"We can, and we will. Okay?" He raised his eyebrows daring me to disagree, so I nodded my head, he smiled and kissed my forehead taking me by surprise. He stood up and left my office
"Be right back!" He yelled down the hall, I smiled as I wiped the tears from my face.

I'll be okay.

I had to repeat that to myself a thousand times before Hoseok came back into my office with styrofoam containers

"I went to the diner we went to the other day and got you what you ordered while we were there. Also, do you like cannolis? They had just put some in their display so I grabbed a half dozen"

"You're amazing" I smiled "I love cannolis"

He blushed as he smiled

"Want to eat upstairs?"

"Sure" I nodded and stood up, I followed him up the stairs, he turned the music on, it started playing a random play list as we sat down on the floor leaning up against the giant mirror as he handed me my food and a Pepsi
"Thank you, I needed this"
"Of course" he smiled "I kinda figured you did"

While we ate he distracted me by telling me funny stories about what him and Jimin used to do when they were in high school together.
Jimin has more of an extroverted personality compared to Hoseok, so Hoseok was always being dragged along for the shenanigans.
