Chapter 12: The Other Side of Hollywood
Julie and I arrived at the dance at 8 p.m. We entered the gym and we saw everyone dancing and having a great time. Julie was wearing an outfit that was Rose's. She was shocked when I informed her that I'm the one who made it for Rose. I actually had made a lot of outfits for Rose, some good and some bad. Rose was my model when I first tried making outfits and clothing.
Julie headed to the stage to talk with Flynn, and I went to Val, Destiney, and Emma who were dancing with each other. When they saw me they immediately all hugged me.
"Hey girl!" Val smiled at me.
"Hey!" I replied, smiling as well.
"So excited to see Julie perform again!" Emma shared.
"I'm so excited to see those cute boys again." Destiney added, causing Emma and Val to laugh.
"Do you know them Dawn?" Emma asked me.
"A little." I smiled, blushing a bit out of nervousness.
"She's blushing!" Val pointed out. "Okay, which one?"
I let out an airy laugh. "What do you mean?" I asked.
"Which one is yours?" Val clarified.
Destiney put her hands on my shoulders and shook me playfully. "Confess!" She demanded before letting me go.
"As long as it's not the blonde cause he's mine." Emma joked.
"Sorry Emma, he doesn't exactly play for your team." I informed her.
"Dammit." Emma let out a sigh, and I laughed a bit in response.
"She's avoiding the question." Destiney said, looking at Val and Emma.
"You've narrowed it down a little, so it's either the breath-taking guitar player or the drop-dead gorgeous bass player." Val reasoned.
"The blonde's name is Alex. The bass player is Reggie. And the guitar player is Luke." I informed them.
"My money is on Luke." Emma said.
"Luke? No, no, no." I immediately replied.
"Ah, so it's bass playing Reggie. Great interrogation, girls!" Destiney said, high fiving both Val and Emma at the same time.
I laughed at their actions. "It's not that big of a deal."
"Not that big of a deal? In the whole time I've know you, you've never showed any interest in anyone." Val pointed out.
"Not even Evan." Destiney added. All three girls then looked behind me, and I turned around and saw Evan approaching us.
"Speak of the beautiful devil." I heard Emma say behind me.
