A Bit Of Hope (Present Mic x male reader)

(M/N) went back after that with the box in hand.

"Oooh, what's that?"

"Highschool stuff that Nighteye was keeping of mine."

"Really?"

"Yea..I'm going to give it to (D/N)."

Hizashi looked surprised.

"Are you sure?"

"Yep, I'm done keeping quiet about him with her... I'm going to tell her everything."

"You are?"

"Yes, all she's knows is that we went to Highschool together, got engaged, adopted her, that he was a hero and that he died. Also little things here and there. Oh and Hizashi."

"Yes?"

"Can you come with me, I uh can't really do everything myself..."

"Of course."

"(D/N)?"

(M/N) knocks on her door.

"Come in."

Hizashi opens the door and the two of them go in there.

"Oooh what's in that box?"

"You'll see."

(D/N) was sitting on her bed and (M/N) pulls  up a chair and sits the box in it.

"Alright, I thought that since your birthday is tomorrow I'll give you a early present."

(M/N) opens the box and takes out the baby book.

"Expect for this, it's for your eighteenth birthday."

(D/N) was confused but took out a scrap book that was in there.

"Wait is that...dad?"

She points to the first picture which had a picture of newly pro heros (P/N) and (M/N).

"Yes it is.."

(D/N) looks through it more. It had group picture of their friend group. Some with older pro heros that are now retired and some of just (M/N) or (P/N).

"Your dad actually took a lot of these pictures...he told me if being I pro didn't work out, he'll be a photographer."

"Really?"

"Yep, he enjoyed it as much as he loved being a hero."

(D/N) puts that to the side and looks through the box more til she found an envelope addressed to her.

"Huh I didn't see that."

(D/N) opens it and starts to read it out loud.

"Dear (D/N),

Hey sweetheart, I'm sorry I'm not going to be able to see you grow up. I wasn't even able to hold you once..but I'll watch both you and your dad from above, or below I'm bisexual so it's fifty-fifty. Sorry tried to brighten up the mood there but, I'm keeping an eye on you anyway. I knew I was going to die without meeting you, and I'm sorry for leaving you two alone but please tell your father to move on, I want him to be happy without me and find someone else, you could probably pull some strings to get him and Hizashi together. Hizashi's a good guy sooo I approve. I don't know how old you are when you read this but if your deciding on what you should do, I'm going to say be whatever you want. If you don't want to be a hero that's fine with me. I want you to enjoy your life to the fullest like I did mine, well almost. You get what I'm getting at, hopefully. I love you, even though I never got to say it in person I know I do. I'm sorry again about leaving so soon.
