Remnants Judge

volume 3 chapter 1

It's the middle of the fall and the green on the trees turned orange,it had a nice breeze and everything. I always wished that this season in particular was in the underground. I was invited to go with Ruby and Yang for something they took me back to Patch where Tai was, me and Tai talked for a bit and watched TV, later Ruby brought me somewhere and it was all familiar to me, but we got to the end and at the end was the cliff with Summers grave. This brought back some bad memories, but I kept my composure.

Ruby: Sorry I didn't tell you, I know you would probably make an excuse to not go.

Sans: No, it fine. It's just, seeing her like this reminds me of......

Ruby: Its fine, you don't need to say it, I know.

Sans: Thank you.

Ruby: Your welcome.

I then stand next to her and she spoke.

Ruby: Hey mom. Sorry I haven't come by in a while. Things have been....well things have been pretty busy. Oh! Dads here too. Hes, you know...Dad. Hes still teaching at signal, but he told me he's going out on missions soon. I think he misses adventuring with you....I miss you too. I haven't gotten kicked out of beacon, so that's cool. I think being on a team with Yang helps. I keep her in line. That was a joke. Shes actually a really great fighter, you can tell she's learned alot from Dad. Well so is Weiss and Blake. Oh, there my teammates. Together we form team RWBY. And before you ask yes that does cause alot of confusion. Oh yeah, I found Sans, technically he found me but that doesn't matter.

Sans: Hey Summer, it's been a while.

Ruby: He is considered to be one of the best fighters in remnant! He even is the blue eyed worrior I talked to you about a few times.

Sans: At least you where thinking of me.

Ruby: Anyways, uh, I made a bunch of new friends and I met some.....let's just say odd teacher.

Sans: Well that's putting it lightly, I would say strange.

We both chuckled.

Ruby: Oh! We also stopped some bad guys too!I guess it's like they say: like mother, like daughter.

It was quiet for a few minutes then ruby spoke again.

Ruby: I still wonder why Ozpin let us in the school early. But uh, I guess hell tell me one day. You know how he is. It's funny, the more I get to know him, the more he starts to sound like Uncle Qrow.

Zewi barks and we both turn around and we see Zewi and Tai.

Ruby: Oh, looks like Dads back, I got to go. Hes dropping me off at beacon for the tournament match before he goes on his next mission! Wish me luck!

Sans: Tell Tai I'll check up, I'll just teleport to you ok.

Ruby: Ok, don't take to long.

The both of them walked off back to the house and I then turn towards Summers grave.

Sans: I'm sorry I haven't visited you. The last time I have was over a decade ago and it was before then when we first met, I knew from the way you looked at me with those silver eyes you had a kind heart you remind me of Ruby alot, the way she helps other people, her attitude towards people, everything,bi know this because of the stories I've heard from you in my travels around remnant, you where like a legend to people........when you died, it hurt me alot it reminded me of all the good friends and family I lost on the way....it reminded me of my brother. I don't know if this is even a thing, but where ever you are, if papyrus is there with you, please tell him that I miss him and that I love him.
