Chapter 13

(Y/n)'s p.o.v

My eyes widen as I shake my head "n-no, I can't take that, that's your winnings-" "(Y/n), we both went out tonight, we might as well have the same amount. Take the money" I blush slightly as I smile and accept the money, with that we walk back inside. Going up some stairs we see that Tadashi is groaning as he looks like he's just getting to sleep. I look at Hiro, he motions for me to be quiet, and we quietly sneak back to our rooms and laugh softly. Breathing in and out I jump on the bed feeling so tired and relaxed as I sigh a little and get under the blanket.

-year time skip-

Throughout my time in San Fransokyo I grew closer to the gang, kept up good grades at SFIT, and somehow grew a tiny crush on Hiro. It won't change anything, I'm still with Dipper and everything.. which is great because I love him. Another thing I almost forgot about is that Hiro wanted me to meet up with him to do another bot fight. We're going to the place where there's an announcer this time... makes it feel more "'official'".. Hiro's words, not mine. When we get there we start watching the fight between this girl and some dude named Yama.

Some people felt intimidated, so Hiro looks at me and gives me the wink, then he says "can I try?" 'We're doing this the hustle way.' I smile innocently as people move out of the way for us, so I say "he has a robot" "I built it myself." Yama was the first one to start laughing, which made everyone around us to start laughing too. The announcer then says "beat it kids, you gotta pay to play" "oh, is this enough?" Hiro asks while holding out crumpled money. I smile while trying to do the most innocent face I could ever do, Yama looked amused by us.

"What's your name, little boy?" Yama asks out with his smirk "Hiro... Hiro Hamada" Yama then says "prepare your bot, Zero" I flinch as I try to look scared. Hiro put his hand on my shoulder as he sets his money on the plate and he set his bot down afterwards. Yama then sat down and cracked his neck, I sit behind Hiro and try to act scared as I stay close to him. Hiro then acts like he cracked his neck, so I softly facepalm "two bots enter, one bot leaves. Fighters, ready? Fight!!" The announcer says to declare the fight, and Hiro got his bot handed to him.

I put my hands over my mouth and act like I'm getting both shocked/mad as I glare up at Yama "th-that was my first fight. Can I try again?" Hiro asks Yama, so he says "no one likes a sore loser, little boy! Go home." I stand up and grab out my robot saying "then let me try to go against you! I got more money." Holding out my nicely rolled money I gain Yama's attention, so he smiles and puts his money on the tray. Doing the same I switch Hiro spots as he smirks and reassembles his robot, then I breathe in and out to "'calm'" myself.

The announcer then says "fighters, ready? Fight!" "Combot... destroy" I say and instantly go towards Yama's big robot. He's being shocked as my robot easily dodges his blade, but he finally cut my bot in half, which was expected. That's when things got serious and I started to control both of my bots and one of them sliced off the bots arm. The other bot was distracting Yama's bot as the one that cut an arm off starts to use it to take off the other arm. Instantly I get both of my bots onto Yama's bots' shoulders and they spin the bots' head around.

After my foreplay I just make one of my bots slice the head off of Yama's bot with its blade, my bots instantly jump off of Yama's bot. They stand while facing Yama, holdings hands, and bow, so I smile as Hiro says "no more Little Yama." I start grabbing the money as Yama says "what? This is not possible!" I smile at his reaction. "I'm as surprised as you are, beginners luck... wanna go again-" I got interrupted as Hiro pulled me back. I have the money in my pocket, but look up to see how angry Yama is looking at us "Yama?" Hiro asks nervously.

Yama then grabs my bots saying "no one hustles Yama!" Then he walks away, so my eyes widen "hey!-" "teach them a lesson" Yama says from over his shoulder. Hiro pulls me back by my shoulder, so we watch as three dudes are walking towards us. I nervously laugh saying "hey, fellas!..." Hiro puts me behind him saying "let's talk about this." Instantly a light shines in the guys' faces and one jumps back out of the way and did a domino affect on the rest. Every dude is down as I use my remote to make my bots run and into my hold as I look up and see Tadashi.

He looks back at us saying "guys, get on!" I smile big saying "Tadashi!" Hiro pulls me towards the scooter as we squeeze on "great timing." Tadashi then sets helmets on us and we instantly start driving off, so I look back to see if they're following. "You two okay?" Tadashi asks out "yeah" I answer as I keep looking back "are either of you hurt?" Tadashi asks again. Hiro answers this time "no" Tadashi then hits both of us as he continues to drive us our getaway. "Then what were you thinking? Knuckleheads!" Tadashi softly scolds us as he continues to drive.

We had to do a U-turn since the way we were going was a dead-end, so Tadashi says "you both graduate highschool at 13 and this is what you do with it? Even you, (Y/n). You got into college and you're right here doing stuff like this?!" Then we see Yama and his goons blocking our exit. Tadashi then says "hold on!" So I grab onto Hiro as he grabs onto Tadashi and we basically fly over the group. "Woo hoo!" I yell out happily, I look into the one way window as Hiro does too "yes!" Hiro yells out after me. We're finally making our getaway as Hiro looks back to see if they're following this time.
