Welcome all, welcome... small! And large! And everyone! Actually, I technically already said everyone... Also, I'm still mad about Steve's ending in Endgame. Say what you want, but the entire theme of 'letting go of the past' was demolished and I hate it. I now deem it as the Cursed Child of Marvel XDD End of my mini rant.

On with the chapter!

.......... Reader's Point of View ..........

   So... Ancient Runes.

   Yeah.

... I mean it seems like a pretty easy class so far; all you have to do is translate these runes with a dictionary and you're done for the period, so... yup. (If it gets too hard, though, I'll probably just get Hermione to help me or something... But anyway-)

I said goodbye to Hermione, who was off to go back in time to do Divination before heading off to Charms or... I don't know! I can't keep track of the million classes she's taking!

Harry, Ron, and Hermione would probably be there before me because the Ancient Runes classroom is like... in a remote janitor's closet in a basement, basically.

You know, this is practically the first time I've walked alone like this. I mean, it's not for very long, but it made everything go (surprisingly) faster. I arrived in Flitwick's room within a couple of minutes.

   Huh.

Harry, you idiot, you were probably dragging us along all these years. You're so distracting. (And for some reason that reminds me of that one time he ran into a wall because he was too excited for lunch-)

Anyway, I took my seat at our regular spot in the corner and waited for the others to arrive. Hermione was the first to walk in, after Seamus and Dean, who were arguing over whether or not  it was possible to explode a book by Seamus's touch... So nothing out of the ordinary.

Except for the fact that Hermione looked incredibly ticked off.

"(y/n), you'll never believe what happened in Divination!" she exclaimed heavily, dropping her books down next to me with a loud thud. Ron and Harry were quick to come over, lest Hermione yell at them for being late or something. "I mean, honestly, that woman is a total fraud-"

"She didn't seem to bad to me," Ron shrugged, "Besides, it's an easy class."

"Oh, and that would be the most important thing to you, wouldn't it? An easy pass? Typical!" Hermione turned her glare towards the ginger and he cautiously held his hands up in surrender.

"And anyway, Harry, can't you see she's already singled you out? She's going to be picking on you all year! How do you manage??"

Hermione finally plopped into her seat, and so Harry and Ron finally thought it safe to take a seat next to us.

"Hermione, it's always like this. Literally every teacher has singled me out at some point. Especially Snape. Mostly Snape. And except McGonagall, but that's because she doesn't give two corn chips whether or not I'm the 'Boy-Who-Lived,' just if I have or haven't turned in my homework on time."

Good one, Harry, play up Boy-Who-Wants-To-Be-Normal so Hermione won't kill you for not turning in your Transfiguration homework yet.

(Yes, it worked; Hermione looked at Harry like he was a pitiful, sad boy. He's off the hook, now it's just me and Ron. Ron's doomed.)

"Hermione, what do you mean she singled Harry out? What did she do?" I asked.

Risky, yes, but if she starts ranting she might just forget about everything else until class starts and Ron and I will be saved.
