part 19- patty and a mountain of regret

Barry's POV

I walk into star labs a few hours after Caitlin broke up with me. I walk into the control room and cisco is sat there he looks at me and says "no Caitlin?" I look at him and he says "oh Barry no you didn't did you?" I shake my head "cisco she did" he looks at me and then blinks. I pull my phone out my pocket and show him the text "oh god no Caitlin no what ae you doing" he says. Caitlin then walks in. I walk out and i can hear cisco complaining to her I walk out and run to the police station I walk in. I go to the stairs to walk up to my office. im half way up the stairs when suddenly someone grabs my arm from behind I let out a gasp and then patty whispers in my ear "so Barry what brings you in for once" I laugh and say "hey patty" we walk into my office she pushes me into a chair and says "Barry I have to tell you something" I say to her "well im sat down so you have my attention" she sits on my desk and looks at me "I probably should have said this before you got struck by lighting last year. but I didn't know what to say and I guess I still don't" I say " it's ok patty don't worry take your time" she thanks me and then says "I think I have a way to explain it now" she leans in  and kisses my lips I kiss back and I see her eyebrows raise up.

caitlins POV

I walk into star labs a few hours after ending things with Barry. I head towards the control room when I hear him and cisco talking I walk in and he looks at me and leaves. Barry turns the corner and cisco is already shaking his head. "so Barry told you then" he nods then says "Caitlin what the fuck where you thinking" I think for second what was I thinking "cisco I don't know what I was thinking ok I think I over thought this thing and then didn't want to absolutely ruin myself like I did after Ronnie died" he looks at me and then he hugs me. well you've gotta get Barry back.

9PM that night

I see Barry with his hands in his pocket in a quiet street I call out his name he turns around i run over to him "Barry I'm so sorry I'm so sorry please I still love you".

Barry's POV

I'm walking down the quiet streets I'll be honest my hearts still kinda torn between Caitlin and patty I suddenly hear Caitlin call out my name I turn around and I see her running towards me. "Barry I'm so sorry I'm so sorry please I still love you" she says. I suddenly have the urge to sing a song.
