part 22- there's no winning

Barry's POV
Its been a week since Cisco forced me and Caitlin into the pipeline and she's already called it quits. I walk into the control room. "FUCK" I yell Cisco walks in "bad time?" He asks. I turn around and say "well you wasted your time last week" cisco looks surprised "Barry quit fucking around what happened" I pull my phone out my pocket and place it on the table "oh for fucks sake" he says "what is it this time" I shrug my shoulders I'll be honest Cisco I don't know." That's when she walks in.

Caitlin's POV
I walk into the control room knowing I'll have to deal with the two of them barry glares at me and then runs off. Cisco turns round. "So what's it this time" I'll be honest I don't think me and Barry will ever work out.

Barry's POV
Joe took me down to the river quite a lot when me and iris where kids I'm looking our over the water when my phone starts to ring I pull it out my pocket. Its Cisco calling me "yo what's up" I say when I pick up. He explains that caitlins disappeared to. I tell him she's probably off trying to find me to beg for me again. Cisco asks where I am. I tell him surely he can just trace my phone.

Cisco's POV
I'm as pissed at caitlin as barry is I was convinced she'd be fine but I was wrong. Barry's location pings as next to the river. FUCK I yell caitlins literally there to.

Caitlin's POV
Of course cisco took Barry's side of course he fucking did cus I can't hold it down with Barry. I then see Barry I duck behind a tree why the fuck is he here. He let's out a yell then drops to the floor.
He seemed happier with patty than me maybe we're never gonna work out.

Barry's POV
Maybe this is what happens when you fuck with the time line. I mean I fucked with it before but now I've really broken it I somehow merged with the younger me now I'm sat here screaming at water. This is what happens when your stupid Barry you can't reverse everyone else's deaths
I get up eventually I walk over to a tree I lean on it. What am I to do.

Caitlin's POV
I've been hidden behind the tree just watching Barry what the fuck was I thinking. I guess I was being stupid and now Barry's a mess because of it. Cisco then phones me Barry looks up "fuck off Caitlin there's no need for you to be here" he says before turning around and running off.
"Fuck sake Cisco what I was stood behind Barry when you phoned" I say "oh I was about to warn you about that" he says

Barry's POV
I walk through the forest till eventually I'm sure Caitlin isn't still behind me. Barry and felicity ha e fine through numerous break ups and there married now which in the original time lime hasn't happened yet. I run to star city I walk into Oliver and Thea's club. I'm walking in as laurel is walking out. "Oh hey Barry" she says. Felicity and Oliver then walk out the basement "Barry what are you doing here" felicity asks. I say "well central city is pretty stressful right now and I needed some advice from the two of you." felicity looks worried "oh no don't tell me you and Caitlin have broken up again" she says. I just nod my head. she gives me a hug "it's okay Barry" she says. 

a few hours me and Oliver are sat in the club . no one else is there he turns to me. "you know I thought me and felicity wouldn't work after last time" he says. I look at him he then explains how no matter what he would fight for some way to see past the issues the two of them had. he then says "Barry what you gotta do is show that shit isn't gonna end up like how she thinks it will" and that's when it clicks in my head "she left me last time because she's scared that I might die as the flash" Oliver then says "Barry no matter what in our line of work there's risk's but it's who we surround ourselves with. cisco and Caitlin are both really smart people but what you need is someone else to back you up in the field. I mean I have so many people to back me laurel, dig, Thea and Quentin" I release that Oliver might be right I need someone to watch my back. that night I run back to central city. I go into the control room where cisco is sat "holy fuck Barry where have you been" I laugh and say "funny story about that I was in star city"
Me and Cisco are then working out who could we recruit into a sort of team of meta humans in central city.
