Ciel played chess with Madam Red while Sebastian and Alice were discussing what they called 'private matters'. Later that night Ciel was sitting in the study with Sebastian and Alice.
"so, what is it?" Ciel questions "did you figure out anything?"
"No matter how many times i simulate the events, only the viscount could have been involved in this string of murders" Sebastian tells him
"So we have to alter our search conditions? The viscount couldn't have been involved in yesterday's murder" Ciel says
"Yes true, it would have been impossible for any of the persons that were at the viscount's residents" Alice smirks
"yes but..." Ciel stops and looks at them annoyedly "So it was impossible for a person who was there? Now I see you bastards"
Alice laughs
Sebastian smirks "By your order, I your chessman, shall become your sword. Now let us move into check, my young masters"
"yes! time for some action" Alice cheers

Sebastian, Ciel, and Alice stood outside buildings in an alleyway out in the cold.
"It's cold" Ciel says shivering
"And late" Alice adds
"Yes I suppose your new clothes would make you cold" Sebastian says "your usual attire would make you stand out too much here"
"You're certain he'll make an appearance if we keep watch here right?" Ciel asks
"yes, that is the only entrance, and this is the only path that leads to it" Sebastian replies
"And you're positive the next target will be Mary Kelly, who lives in that tenement?" Ciel asks Alice
"Most likely" Alice replies smiling
"that's not a good answer" Ciel sighs "now what-"
They hear a scream.
"wha- but no one entered the room!" Ciel shouts confused
"Let's go" Sebastian says
The three run over, Ciel opens up the room, it was covered in blood.
"Ciel don't look" Alice pulls him back and covers his eyes, Ciel was shaking
Sebastian looked up "you have made quite the mess of things Jack the Ripper, or should I say, Grell Sutcliff"
"N-No this is... I rushed in there because I heard the screams but she was already-"
"Already what? We have been keeping an eye on the sole path here all night. How in the world did you manage to enter that rom at the end of this blind alley and evade us?" Sebastian questioned "Do you really plan to feign innocence looking as you do? This is my first time meeting someone of your ilk in the human world. You did a splendid job acting like one of them"
Grell starts laughing "Is that so, you hit the nail on the head, you did. I am an actress and a first rate one at that, but neither are you Sebastian, yes?"
"my young masters gave me that name so yes I am Sebastian for now" Sebastian replies "I have been living for quite some time, but i have never head of someone of your ilk being a butler, one who is supposed to stand neutral between god and humans, a grim reaper"
"I suppose you could say I fell head over heels for a woman" Grell says
Sebastian narrowed his eyes "and that woman is-"
"Whether you hear him out or not I think you already know, Sebastian" Madam Red's voice was heard
Ciel moved Alice's hand away from his eyes "Madam"
"I miscalculated. I never imagined there would also be someone by Ciel's side who could see through Grell's disguise" Madam Red says
"Of course Madam Red was of course on our initial list of suspects" Alice tells her
"but your alibi was flawless" Ciel adds
"How could you Ciel, you went as far as to doubt me, your dear aunt?" Madam Red questions acting hurt
"No human, on the list of suspects could have committed all the murders. Of course that includes you, Madam. But it is a different story with a reaper as your accomplice if he can enter Mary's room in an instant without us noticing he would also be capable of instantly transporting
himself over the lengthy distance between the west end and the east end and if a servant were to disappear for a matter of minutes no one would pay any heed. Therefore only the two of you can be Jack the Ripper" Ciel explains
"How sad my lovely nephew, my elder sisters son, if you hadn't insisted on getting to the bottom of all this, we might've played chess again, however..." Madam Red turned angry "I will not yield this time!"
Grell pulled out his death scythe which looks like a chainsaw and went to attack the them, Sebastian jumped in front and held him back. Ciel grabs Alice's arm and pulls her back.
Ciel took off the bandage covering his eye "In the name of the queen and my own evil title, I command you Sebastian, hunt them down!"
Sebastian smirks "yes, my lord"
