Five's POV

"Hey. How do you feel buddy?" Klaus whispered to me.

"I'm about to ask the love of my life, the person who was there for me when I was most distant, the person who loved me even when I pushed her away, the person who was with me in the apocalypse for 45 years, the person who has dealt with all my shit for 58 years, the person who I trapped in a 14 year old body, to marry me. How do you think I feel Klaus?"

"I don't know, that's why I asked." Klaus replied.

"I'm a little nervous!"

Y/n was this amazing person who I really didn't deserve. And I'm about to ask her to marry me? We only look fourteen. Technically we can't get married for another two years. I don't know why I'm doing this. What if she says no? I can't take that kind of heartbreak.

"Hey man you're sweating bullets! Calm down she'll say yes."

"Do you really think she will?" I said. I didn't care if Klaus saw my weak side. I was so scared that this whole thing would go sideways.

"Yes Five. I really think she will." Klaus gave me a pat on the back.

Y/n's POV

Five had called me earlier and told me he needed to see me because he had a surprise. I was at Vanya's when he called so when Vanya answered she was surprised when it wasn't for her. How did he even know I was at her apartment?

I was currently stopping by Griddy's because I was kind of thirsty and coffee sounded pretty good.

"Hey Agnes!" I said as I walked in

"Oh hey. What can I get ya?" She asked while cleaning the counter off.

"How about a black coffee?" I replied.

She started to write that down on her little notebook and walk to the back room.

"Actually make that 2 black coffees." I said.

Five sounded kind of anxious. Maybe coffee will make him feel better.

Agnes walked out of the back room with two black coffees.

"Here you go! I assume I don't need to tell you what you owe me?

I slapped a five on the counter.

"Nope. Thank you, Agnes." I said while walking out of the donut shop. She gave me a quick wave and I returned one back.

I started heading to the academy. I wonder why Five was so nervous?

Five's POV

"What's taking her so long?" I started to pace back and forth and fiddle with my hair. I adjusted myself and fixed my tie.

"Do I look alright?" I asked Diego who was sitting next to Klaus after he heard our whole conversation.

"You look fine old man." He said while flipping his knife.

"This is serious! I don't want to look fine. I want to look. . . Well, perfect. Handsome even if we can get there." I trailed off.

Klaus put a hand on his heart.
