Concerning Male Razorwhips (RTTE)

Today, we're going to dive into the Razorwhips. These guys I really love, but there's just not much info on them, and some are even contradictory or unclear.

What REALLY bugs me though are the male Razorwhips! Where ARE they? Are they loners or are they together like the females? And can female and male Razorwhips get along outside of mating and hatchlings? Or is it always hostile? Or is it just with this particular colony of Razorwhips? Because it seems like the male hatchlings get along with their sisters and other females just fine.

It's obvious that their behavior is similar to lions: violent mating and killing/eating the offspring of their rival so that they can mate with the female. Actually, it looks like other dragons do that, too. Like the Nightmares, as mentioned in "Total Nightmare". It seems like hatchlings, once grown, fly away from the island until the females need to lay their eggs, while the males leave... somewhere... to avoid being killed by psycho females, I'm assuming. (Ugh, yet again, another dragon species that we know little about!)

Also, would female Razorwhips be able to accept MALE Riders? I mean, there's Windshear, but she's the exception. I mean, what happens if it's time for her to lay eggs? Will she become aggressive towards her male Rider, or will the bond between them overpower that instinct? Windshear's never mated yet (that we know of) so we can't really prove that. Are female Razorwhips even appropriate for male Riders? Could it be that Razorwhips are one of the few dragons where the human-dragon pairs HAVE to be of the same gender in order for it to work? I mean, are male Razorwhips even trainable, either? They seem to have potential during "Stryke Out" (assuming that was a male Razorwhip). UGH! So many questions!!! X(

Anyway, let me know what you guys think. Hope you have a great day!

Long Live the Night!
