"Yeah, I know, she was so surprised! I mean, it wasn't very big, just a little bug, but Flower went crazy!" Match exclaimed, giggling along as she spoke to her best friend, Pencil. "Wow! Flower must be really scared of bugs!" Pencil also exclaimed, giggling as well. "Yeah, I know. Flower thinks she's so fabulous. Like the time she asked Icy if she was beautiful."
Ice Cube overheard the conversation and decided to butt in. "Oh! Oh! I remember that! I am so gonna get revenge on her! I mean, I cannot believe that she thinks we will be her servants! But I'm so glad you guys are my friends, though. Really! Bubble likes me too... right Bubble?" Ice Cube pulled Bubble towards her, grinning widely. "U-Umm... Y-Yeah?" Bubble meekly answered. She was a bit scared of being popped, which judging from Ice Cube seemed to be imminent.
"No! Ice Cube! Stop!" The duo exclaimed. A figure looked at the Ice Cube with confusion and mild concern. 'Does she not know that she is about to pop her or does she simply not care?' They asked themselves but didn't have enough time to draw a conclusion as Woody hit the ground, headfirst. The mysterious figure cautiously approached the injured object and extended its arm. Woody took hold of it and helped himself up.
"What happened... uh... Plank?" The figure asked, confused as they have not met Woody before, then again they have not met anyone here before. Woody looked at the figure, before screaming. The noise attracted Tennis Ball, who tried to calm Woody down. Golf Ball soon arrived as well. "Woody! What is with the sc-" She cut herself off as she took a look at the mysterious figure.
"Wh- WHAT!? WHO ARE YOU!?," She shouted. The mystery object nervously chuckled. "Oh... Hi... I'm Football"
TIME SKIP
"A BFDI!" Four exclaimed as the fifty-six contestants cheered. "But first, form seven groups of eight!" Football looked around, before seeing that Woody, Nickel, and Balloony already formed a group. She waved at the three, before approaching them. "Hey, guys! Can I join your team?" Football asked. Balloony, Nickel, and Woody looked at each other with uncertainty. Woody sighed, before speaking up. "S-Sure..." Football beamed at Woody's response.
David and Roboty looked at the group. David gave the four a slight wave. "Hey, are you open for more members?" David questioned the group. Nickel was about to deny the request, but Football happily allowed them to join their team. Nickel glared at Football, who paid no mind to it. Nickel sighed. "Two dead weights, a coward, and a people pleaser. This is just fantastic." He sarcastically quipped. David, Woody, and Roboty glared at him, but Football ignored it.
The six sat in silence, before being approached by Rocky. He gave the six a smile, before nuzzling into Balloony. "Guess we have our team!" Football exclaimed. Nickel was about to interject the idea but Four already approached the team. "What is your team name?" He asked. Nickel was visibly frustrated. "Idiots!" He exclaimed, enraged at the fact that he couldn't get a word out. Four grinned as Nickel suddenly came to realize what he just said. "WAIT NO-" It was too late. That was now their team name. Balloony turned to Nickel. "Why would you make that our team name-" "IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!"
