I crouched down and looked at the footprints, judging by the size, looks like a 10 at least but it's no ordinary foot mark of any ordinary shoe. Looks expensive and rather fancy.

I scanned around the area for any clues, nothing but the rattling of the wind and crunching of the grass under my feet, then something shiny caught my eye.

I turned my head and found a shiny dagger pierced into a tree. I walked over to it to find that there was a not attached to it as well.

A low groan erupted from my throat as I pulled the dagger out of the tree. Its was light with strange yet interesting marking on it. The blade was sharp and at least 7 inches.

The note felt rather silky smooth than its ordinary hard material, must be expensive and special kind of paper.

This must have been what my mystery man must have left for me last night but who is he? And why did he come here? Is there something he knows about my mother that I don't?

He seems rather important to my investigation and I need to track him down as quickly as possible and start asking him important questions or this would all be for nothing.

I gently opened the note and the words were written in a neat and fancy form. It's also hand written not a computer's font of any sort.

Dear Ms Wick

I know you want answers and I know who you are looking for.
If you want to find me, I'll be in Manhattan.
1 Wall Street Court

Manhattan? Wall Street Court? What the fuck is he doing there?

Besides, it's gonna be a 15 hour trip to Manhattan if I had a car. It'd take at least 19 hours on my skateboard.

I'd require a motel along the way as well as money, clothes and food for the road.

It does not matter. I need to do this.
