Forgive me for rambling so much, let's just start with the chapter ww

"So... let me repeat this just to make sure I got everything right.", a brunet said as the older male nodded, letting the younger male continue.
"You are a witch who is supposed to lure in Hansel and Gretel and then attempt to eat them. But instead, you got lost the first time you met them and they had to help bring you home even though they were just being abandoned by their parents?", the younger male asked as the masked male nodded.
"And then you offered for them to stay with you after they had helped you even though that goes exactly against the story which was given to you in your Book of Fate and the three of you lived together for some months?
And one day, the two of them went on their usual walk only for neither of them to come back anymore? And this got you into the situation of where you started to search for them only to get lost and having to ask someone for help?", Amatsuki asked as the witch nodded.
"Yeah, that's about it. I'm glad you understood me, Amatsuki-kun.", Kashitaro said with a smile.
"I... did understand what you meant. But I find it hard to believe.", Amatsuki said as the older male sighed but nodded with a soft smile.
"I can understand that it might be a bit unbelievable but I promise that you can trust me. If there is a way that I can convince, just tell me. I'll do my best to consider it and do it.", Kashitaro assured him as the younger male thought about it for a while before answering.
"A way to convince me... I can't really think of anything besides the time when I see the children's reactions once we meet them.", Amatsuki said as the older male nodded. "I see... Well, I can't convince you yet but would you like me to tell you more about them?"
"Sure! I'd love to hear more about them.", the brunet exclaimed. He didn't know if people knew but he absolutely adored children and always had a sense of duty to protect them.
Which is why he decided to follow this stranger even though everything was questionable. If there was even the slightest chance of there being children who were lost and in need of help, Amatsuki would risk his life no question.
"Alright then.", Kashitaro said, laughing lightly when he saw the enthusiasm of the younger male. "To start of... their names are Root and Riinu. They are both 14 and 13 and I found them close to my house in the past. They were eating... my house."
"Wait, they were eating your house?! Were they that desperate that they'd start to eat anything they see?!", Amatsuki asked, both scared and worried for those two children.
"Ah, no, it's not what you think it is.", the older male assured before he proceeded to tell the shorter male about the children named Root and Riinu.
"My house is made out of gingerbread. I know it sounds weird to make a house out of food and not exactly the smartest choice but a friend of mine convinced me to make one.
They're... from Wonderland. I don't know if you've heard from the people of Wonderland but they're quite unique. In a different way from all of us.", Kashitaro said with a small chuckle before it turned into a sad smile as he continued telling about Root and Riinu.
