"Oh my gosh, Sean!" I exclaimed, excited when I saw him at the door.

I was visiting John for the end of the year, he invited me to spend a week with his family since he knew things got lonely for me around this time of year. When the door was opened, John was hiding at the side, holding Sean in front of the door so he would be the one to greet me.

"Hey Mallory! You're looking real good today!" John squeaked, moving Sean around as if he was the one saying it.

"Aw thank you Sean. You've learned to speak quick," I giggled. "Oddly sound like if your father sucked helium from a balloon.

Walking inside, I quickly grabbed Sean and hugged him. He was still a little baby but he seemed to have grown so much since I last saw him. Sean and I seemed to get along well, he didn't cry and scream when I held him and I would just ramble on to him whatever I felt like talking about. It seemed silly since he was only 1, but babies can seriously make the best friends.

"Hello, Mallory," Yoko greeted.

"Aw, Yoko, I've missed you. You look great after having Sean," I said. I looked at Sean. "Doesn't your Mum look great?"

"Maaaaa," Sean mumbled.

"Go on, tell her how pretty she is," I encouraged, but Sean just said whatever baby talk was coming out of his mouth, making us all chuckle.

He was adorable. I had the blessing of being his godmother. Sean had some real bragging rights, his Dad was John Lennon for crying out loud, but he gets me and Elton John as godparents. How many kids can say Elton John is their godfather? Elton's a real cool guy, he's wickedly funny and I had so much fun having him on a show once.

"Clearly he loves his godmother. He likes watching your show, y'know," Yoko said.

"Really? Well, it's great to know my favourite godson watches me. Of course, he's my only godson, but still my favourite," I chuckled. "How's the music break been, John?"

"Oh yeah, it's been nice. There isn't any pressure anymore, I can just relax and raise Sean. It's been good, I've learned how to change diapers and all," John said.

I rolled my eyes and laughed. "Finally learning how to do something other than how to be controversial."

"It's a shame, I was real good at that," John chuckled.

John was always finding himself in the midst of controversy, some hilariously funny and some terrifying. He's made all the kinds of comments in the world that you can imagine and has just about offended every living being in some way, but he's still just John. He never cared if some old dude was telling everyone he was a prick, because he was the kind to agree with statements like that.

That's why John and I got along so well, I guess we just knew we could say whatever bullshit wanted to come out of our mouths without being scared the other one wouldn't like it. He and I had been best friends for ages, you'd think one of us would've grown up and stopped talking crazy and stuff, but we always said we would never let our minds get old.

I sat down on the couch with Sean in my lap, having him face me. Bouncing him up and down on my knee, I held his arms and made him laugh, watching the smile grow on his face. He looked so much like John, but you could also see the Japanese heritage from Yoko in his face. John really knew how to make adorable sons, both Sean and Julian were absolute sweethearts.

"Can you say Mallory's name?" John asked, taking a seat next to me. He placed his hand on Sean's back. "Go, Maaaa-looo-reeee."

"Maaaaaayyyoooo," Sean blubbered, slapping his thighs with his tongue out and his head down.
