Still You [Short Story]

Chapter 4

Jungkook's POV

It's the second day that we are staying here and to say that Taehyung and I are becoming closer and closer for these past few days.

We still couldn't talk alone because of the activities for Jin Hyung and Namjoon hyung's wedding.

I wish we could have some alone time together, that would be nice.

Now, I am currently getting ready for our night on the beach. I think? Jin Hyung did not inform us what we are going to do actually. He just told us to get ready for the fun.

I am done getting ready so I went outside my cottage and joined the others in the main cottage since everyone has his own room and cottage except the lovers. My girlfriend isn't here that makes me the only one inside my room and cottage. Taehyung also has his own room and cottage.

"Oh? Jungkook's already here!" Ami exclaimed.

She will never change. Still excited about everything that she finds good.

"Hello, guys!" I said greeting them.

Yoongi, Namjoon, and Hoseok give me bro hugs as we always do. Ami and Jimin hug me too. It's already common for us to use this kind of gesture as friends.

"By the way, where is Jin Hyung?" I asked since I did not see him when I got here.

"Oh? Jinnie? He is outside trying to call Taehyung's number," Namjoon Hyung said.

"Why? Did something bad happened to him?" I panicked a bit.

I admit there is still a little space in my heart for Taehyung no matter what happened he will always be my greatest love.

"Don't worry, Kook. Nothing bad happened to him. Just that Tae always takes his time preparing," Jimin said.

I felt relieved.

A minute passed, Jin Hyung entered inside still holding his phone near his ears.

"Hyung, he is still not answering?" Jimin asked.

"Yeah, we are already late!" Jin Hyung answered a bit frustrated ut not angry.

"How about this, you guys go first where will be our destination and I will go get Taehyung. Just text us the address and we will meet you there," I suggested.

"Alright, Kook. That sounds like a good idea," Namjoon Hyung said as he nods a bit.

"Alright, Kook. Be careful on your way there okay?" Ami said.

"Let's meet at the club near the coffee shop," Jin Hyung said.

"A club? I thought we are going to the beach?" Jimin said.

"No silly! We are here to have fun for the night, which will happen tomorrow. Okay?" Jin Hyung laughing out his windshield laugh making everyone laugh too.

"Alright guys, we will meet you there," I said.

As we all bid our goodbyes, I proceed walking back inside and went towards Taehyung's cottage. Just a bit farther, I successfully arrived in his own cottage.

I knocked three times but no one answered so I slowly turned the doorknob.

Wait! He did not lock his door? He could get robbed by this!

I entered and slowly walks inside.

"Tae?"

I called him and heard him answer.

"I am inside my room," he said as a reply.

"I walked towards his room and knocked on the door.

"Hey, Tae. It's me Jungkook. The guys already left and told us just to meet them in the club after I fetch you," I said still standing outside his room.

I did not enter since I respect his privacy. After a couple of minutes, I heard the door clicked and opened. An angel went out, a beautiful angel.

"Oh, hey Kook! Sorry, I took a while," he said as a faint blush is present in his cheeks.

"How do I look?"

"So beautiful," I said in a small voice but I guess Taehyung still heard me when I said those words.

A blush is present in his cheeks. Oh god! He is still as beautiful as ever.

"T-thank you!" He said as a shy smile appeared on his face.

"Y-yeah, shall we go?" Darn it! Why did you stutter boy!

He just nods as a sign of agreement. We went out of his place and starts to walk. Damn! Why is the atmosphere a bit awkward?

"Uh, Tae? Can I talk to you for a bit about us before while we walk to the others?" 

I got the courage to ask him just to clear things between us and no more awkward situations like this in the future.

"Uh, sure Kookie. I-I mean --"

"It's okay Tae, you can always call me that," I said and smiled at him.

I love it when he calls me that. Wait, love? Get a grip on yourself Jeon! You already have a girlfriend. Oh yeah, I already have a girlfriend. Damn! Why did I forget about her?

He just nods but still, a blush is present in his cheeks.

I stopped and grabbed his hands, holding them against mine while I turned looking at him. 

"Tae, I just want to say sorry about what happened before. I didn't mean to hurt you like that. I know saying sorry to you isn't enough and we couldn't bring back what we have before but I hope someday you can forgive me and be friends again like we used to be," I said from the bottom of my heart.

When I finished telling him those words and just look at him in his eyes, I could see the sadness and hurt in them but it quickly went away as he smiled at me. But I know that smile. That smile is not the real one. A fake one.

"It's okay Kook, I already forgave you a long time ago. Besides, I would love to restore our friendship Kookie." He said smiling but his smile did not reach his eyes. 

I also smiled at him. 

"I am glad you would like to be my friend again Tae. Thank you for your forgiveness," I said truthfully.

He just hummed and we continued to walk. After some minutes of walking, we already arrived at the club and I saw our friends outside waiting for us.

"Hey, look! There they are!"

I heard Jimin shouted earning the attention of the others, especially some other people.

Tae smiled at them while Ami asked him.

"What took you guys so long! I was so ready to get drunk you know and maybe find some hot stuff," Ami said while wiggling her eyebrows up and down earning a dangerous glare from his boyfriend. 

"What did just say baby girl," Hoseok said in his deep voice making Ami shiver.

"Hey, baby! I was saying that maybe I could find hot stuff like you my sunshine," She said nervously.

"Thought so," Hoseok said after he slaps his girlfriend's bum earning a sequel from her getting her embarrassed then stuffing his face to her boyfriend's chest.

"Enough with that! Do it later you horny couple!" Jimin said.

"As if you aren't horny right now for Yoongi's dick!" Ami shouted making Jim as red as a tomato.

They did not end bickering there, not until they got inside.

After sometime, everyone seems to be a bit drunk right now. I was just a bit tipsy. All of them are enjoying their time, just like how I enjoyed my time with someone.

"Tae, can we talk?"

Thoughts? Sorry I couldn't update for over a month. Got a little bit busy though. Sad to say I think not everyone is enjoying this book but I will still continue it for the others who likes it.
