Chapter 13: Partners

"You're so damn annoying, Miko" 

I gasped gently stepping back "You gave me a nickname!" He rolled his eyes at me

"Let's go All Might is about to start talking." He moved around me and I jogged lightly to catch up and walk beside him.

"Good afternoon, students. I hope we're all doing well!" All Might exclaimed, throwing his hands on his hips.
"A lot has been going on lately, unfortunately! But fear not, young students all will be well. Today, I've decided you all deserve to take it easy. So instead of my original plan, we will be playing a game today" the class murmured in excitement and I crossed my arms across my chest

A game? But how can we possibly be playing a game after the attack on our school? Shouldn't we be- I don't know I guess training? My brows pulled together and my mind continued to race as worried thoughts floated through my head, I hadn't really had the time to fully realize what happened. That's because I've been out but I couldn't be the only one worried right?

"You'll be paired up in teams of two, I'll be picking the pairs. One pair will be the hero's, the other pair will be the villains. As the hero, your job is to either retrieve the stolen items from the villains or capture them. Villains, if you defeat the hero that will warrant you a victory. The winners of the contest get extra credit and can opt out of 1 workout day." I heard slight cheers and I smirked gently, All Might began pairing up the students one by one.

"I am matching you all based on people who you are least compatible with. That way you learn how to work well despite adversity" He explained while pointing to Ausi and Tenya, I watched everyone be paired up and again my brows pulled together in confusion when All Might placed a hand on mine and Bakugo's shoulder

"You two, you'll be villains" Bakugo glanced at me, just as confused as I was.
"If you don't mind, I'll have you two go first? Myself and the rest of the class will be watching, good luck!"

"Tch. Yeah, we'll go first no big deal" Bakugo sneered throwing his hands behind his head and walking toward the area we would be fighting in, I sighed running up to walk beside him

"I wonder why he paired us together..." he smirked looking at me from the corner of his eye

"Pssh, who cares. He'll see how wrong he was when we kick ass. Don't worry about it kid" he threw an arm around my waist and I rolled my eyes moving away from him

"People are watching idiot, don't do that" he mumbled something under his breath and adjusted his gauntlet as we entered the room, there was a black table and on it was a huge suit case. Katsuki opened it

"Fake money, I'm guessing we're guarding this?" I hummed in agreement leaning against the wall crossing my arms

"Should we come up with a plan?" I asked watching him stretch with a smirk on my face, he stood up straight staring at me amused

"Hm. You guard the goods, I'll go find whoever the heros are and kick their ass. Good enough?" I chuckled and put a hand on his chest stopping him from coming any closer to me

"No, not good enough. I think I should be offensive and you should be defending the money. You do owe me, last time we worked together you blew me off" he gave me an irritated look

"Fine. I'll stay here, you can go fight. Happy?" I nodded smirking at how easily I persuaded him, he moved my hand leaning down
