When I woke up, my alarm said one. Thank god Kasey let me sleep in, especially on this day.
"The birthday girl is finally up." Kasey said as I walked into the kitchen.
"Here I am, let me guess Michael isn't here?" I asked.
"He told me he'd see you tonight." He said.
"Typical." I said.
"I made you, your favorite." He said.
"You made French toast?" I asked.
"Mhm, before you sit down Donna called." He said.
I walked over to the phone and dialed Donnas number.
"Hello?" She answered.
"Hey Donna, it's V." I said.
"V you're finally up, Happy Birthday." She said.
"Thanks." I said.
"I just talked to Eric, and he said Kitty mentioned something about a slumber party." She said.
"No way, is Red even gonna be okay with it?" I asked.
"Shit maybe since it's your birthday." She said.
"Could you confirm it before I start getting ready?" I asked.
"Yeah I'll call you in a bit." She said.
"Okay later." I said then hanging the phone back up.
"What's up?" Kasey asked.
"A sleepover at Foremans." I said.
"That's exciting." He said.
"Yeah." I said.
"How are you feeling about today?" He asked.
"It's whatever." I said.
"It's gonna be okay, okay?" He said.
"Yeah." I said.
"Enjoy your breakfast then hurry and get ready." He said as he disappeared around the corner.
I sat down and ate my food, taking my time. As I was eating the phone rang.
"Don't worry I got it." Kasey said.
He picked up the phone, answering it.
"Donna wants you to pack an overnight bag and head over to her house when your ready." Kasey said.
"Okay." I said.
"Mhm, okay." He said then hanging up.
"I guess Red approved." I said.
After I was done eating, I put my dishes in the sink then went back to my room to get ready.
I bent down on my floor and took out the gift that I had gotten Hyde, placing it on my bed.
I took out the card I got him and wrote him a sweet little message then put the tickets in it. I put the card in an envelope and sealed it.
I began to get ready for the day, I put on my favorite lavender, long sleeve shirt and a pair of my favorite black jeans.
I did my hair, along with light makeup and then packed my overnight bag. I put in some pajama shorts and some clothes for tomorrow.
I was set and ready to go.
