Percy's POV
"Annabeth! Do you have the keys?" Me and my girlfriend, Annabeth, had just recently moved to an apartment in New York City after finishing college in New Rome.
"Wait a minute, Percy! Gods, you are so impatient!" Annabeth shouted, making her way up the flights of stairs. Percy just wanted her to hurry up. He was nervous, which was not helping his ADHD, making time seem to pass slower. Today was their 6 year anniversary as boyfriend and girlfriend, and her surprise that was waiting in their apartment had to be perfect. it had to be. Percy waited inside the apartment with Annabeth's favorite flowers in his hands. As he waited, he heard footsteps coming up the stairs, the jingle of the keys right outside of the door, the click of the lock opening. Percy got down on one knee just as Annabeth opened the door to the apartment. Annabeth's jaw was wide open in surprise, her eyes starting to brim with tears as she took in Percy's position and the apartment.
