It had been two weeks since that night. Two agonizingly long, emotional weeks. Harry was walking down the corridor on his way to Potions, when a hand shot out from behind a tapestry and pulled him in. He flailed his arms around frantically in an effort to fight off his attacker.

"Would you- fucking, ugh, fucking stop!" Draco snapped, fighting against Harry to keep him still. He pinned the shorter man against the stone wall, his hands on either side of Harry's head.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Harry hissed, his eyes filled with fury.

"I wanted to see you." Draco whispered, leaning closer to the Gryffindor.

"Are you mad?" Harry laughed. "You just told me to stay away from you!"

"I didn't say that exactly..."

"Draco, make up your mind. I'm not going to allow you to treat me like shit and then lunge at me when the coast is clear!" Harry said furiously, pushing Draco's arm aside and taking a step back. "Don't pull this shit again, understand?" He gestured at the tapestry angrily. He turned away from the Slytherin with a sigh. Without thinking twice, Draco reached out and caught Harry by the wrist. He pulled him close and crashed their lips together. Harry melted instantly, any thoughts and worries slipping away. The familiarity of Draco's soft lips against his own set his heart on fire. He brought his arms around Draco's neck and grabbed a fistful of platinum hair, pulling him impossibly closer. He now had Draco against the wall, moaning when the blonde began kissing down his jaw to his neck.

"Draco, we're in a- fuck, we're in a corridor." Harry panted.

"Your point?" Draco breathed into his ear. Harry groaned and pushed himself off of Draco, stepping away from him again.

"I'm late to class..." Harry trailed off. He slipped out from behind the tapestry and locked eyes with a terrified first year pressed against the wall across the corridor. Harry gave the boy a close lipped smile and ran off. Draco, on the other hand, remained hidden. He tried to even out his breathing and his hands were balled into fists. He knew that he should be staying away from Harry, but feelings like the ones he had for him don't go away easily.

Harry was completely shaken after that bizarre encounter. To say that Draco was giving him mixed signals would be an understatement. He stumbled into the Potions classroom 20 minutes late and rushed to his seat next to Ron. 10 points were taken from Gryffindor, earning many groans from the red and gold clad students.

"Where were you?" Ron whispered.

"Draco." Harry said quietly. "He cornered me in the corridor."

"Well, what did he want?"

"Literally fucking nothing. Just wanted to see me, apparently." Harry seethed.

"That's rubbish." Ron scoffed. "Didn't he tell you to piss off?" Harry nodded in response, glaring furiously at his parchment.

"He can't just toy with me like this, its not right." Harry grumbled. He aggressively loaded his quill with ink, causing it to splash onto his notes. "Oh, for fucks sake! Scourgify." He vanished the spilled ink and put his face in his hands. Ron awkwardly patted him on the back. After class was dismissed, Slughorn asked Harry to stay behind.

"Harry, my boy." Slughorn said, his eyes full of concern. "Are you alright?"

"Oh. Yes, sir, I'm okay." Harry was taken aback by the professor's sudden worry.

"Good, good. You know, if you ever need to talk, my door is always open to you, Mr Potter." Slughorn squeezed Harry's shoulder. Harry nodded and gave him a tiny smile.
