first of all: i'm not here to bash kpop itself. i respect the amount of work the artists put into their work. it's not my cup of tea but i respect the grind!
HOWEVER, their stans... whew chile. they're another level of extra. and that's coming from a directioner, we INVENTED extra. i'm not saying all stans but the ones that i've encountered are... very much annoying. 😁
STORYTIME 😁😁😁😁 so i wasn't a directioner before quarantine (depressing i know) and this girl i've known for two years now, messaged me like just asking me yk: what's up, how i've been, etc.. and mind you, i haven't talk to this girl in a good 7 months. so she mentions my pfp (it's harry in a banana costume) and she asks about it. ofc i mention the fact that i'm a harrie and she dead set says "oh that means we can't be friends." i was so confused like: HUH??????

so i responded with: ???? and she texts back: because i'm a kpop stan. and i was still confused????? like ??? who said we can't be friends????? anyways she starts insulting the boys and talking sh!t about harry and we can't have that so i start saying how literally their fanbase is annoying etc.. long story short i'm pretty sure she hates me but i really don't care 😍
moral of the story: just 🗣 because 🗣 someone 🗣 is 🗣 in 🗣 a 🗣different 🗣 fandom 🗣 than 🗣 you 🗣 doesn't 🗣 give 🗣 you 🗣 the 🗣 right 🗣 to 🗣 attack 🗣 them🗣 as long as they aren't hurting or hating on others people are allowed to have different opinions! that being said: hello to all of my mutuals that are kpop stans y'all are some of the cool ones! <3
