Chapter 1

ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center (July 2020)

It had been around 4 months since quarantine has started almost been a few months since ABS-CBN shut down. Donny had sighed, this was his first time being back at his home network since quarantine and the shutdown. He had been called in by his agency StarMagic, he didn't know for what but he knew it was about if he wanted to follow Mr. M to TV5 where he would direct a new afternoon show that was just like ASAP. Did he want to leave his home network because it shutdown? He knew some would stay and fight and some would follow their father figure so people could see them on television again.

Donny sighed once again, he was getting bored and he knew it would take a while since Mr. M was on some zoom meetings with people who are part of StarMagic as well to tell them the news. He quickly glanced at his cellphone and saw a text from his cousin from New York City aka NYC, Kelani Rose as he opened and read the text:

Donnykins! Serenity and I are moving back to the Philippines everything is hectic here for COVID. Plus I think it would be great to be back home again since I missed you guys so much plus Serenity is already 3 years old and she's been missing everyone as well. We might need to stay in a hotel for two weeks I think? Pero see you soon!

Donny couldn't help but smile, his favorite cousin was finally coming home from living in New York for so many years and he couldn't help but be excited to see his niece Serenity again. The last time he saw his niece was when he first went to South Korea because of the rumors that his ate Kelani was rapped and was going to file a case against the father of Serenity which he wanted to be his ate's support and protect her from Korean media knowing that the media might twist the words or more likely hurt her.

He excitedly texted her back, he smiled his favorite cousin was finally coming home and their family would be complete once again!

Ate Lani! Yay! I'm excited can't wait to see you and Ren again! Take care and don't forget my pasalubong ko! Sayang that it's COVID and ABS-CBN is still shut down but pero I'll make sure that you'll get to meet Maymay! She's so bubbly and funny! For sure you are going to adore her! I'll tell mom and dad including Tita Angeli also Tito Gary you are coming home! See you soon ate! Miss you!

He instantly hit send as his handler Ien walked into the conference room and smiled at him. He smiled back at his handler as he heard Ate Ien say;

"Masaya ka nagayon bakit Donny?"

"Ate Lani is coming back from New York to live here for good. Sinabi niya she missed the Philippines so much and Serenity will be here often so it's good kasi she's so loved by all of us in the family."

"That's great! Sayang COVID at shut down parin kami. Pero it will be so good to see Kelani and Serenity around kasi very charming at bubbly yung bata yun! I'm sure Sir Gary will be happy to see his other grandchild around!"

"Leila and her will be best friends din! Just like how close Ate Lani is with Kuya Pao! Our family will be complete again! Sympere masaya din!"

"Of course! What about her acting career in America? Very in-demand siya at very popular siya."

"Knowing ate she will still act but make the Philippines her home ground plus close kami sa South Korea so whenever she has another acting gig there she can fly there right away."

"That's true oh Donny you know that Mr. M will be going to TV5 for awhile. He's been offered to do a noontime Sunday show for them. This can be your big break, you are one of the main hosts."
