Stuck Inside

It's a strange silence, settled all around,
and sources of light, are nowhere found.
It's like a burden, a panic rising in my heart,
when I'm lost, all alone, in this unabating dark.

With tight chains, clasping both my hands,
my vision blurred, by loose hair strands.
In this silent room, no one hears my scream,
can't find my own voice, and in my eyes, tears gleam.

Blinded by the fear, of the great unknown,
I can't move forward when I'm stuck all alone.
I'm held down to the ground, by ropes of insecurity,
or is it nothing but, my own immaturity?

Would I find a hand, who would pull me back?
Out of this incessant silence and dark?
For I can't find the magic I need, inside of me,
for that flame inside had already died, somewhere in between.
