Chapter 3

'Good morning, Joseph.' I say once I wake up.

'Joe let go of me.' I say trying to move his hands away.

'Please.' I say turning around and pulling a puppy dog face.

'No, I'm comfy.' He says resting his head on my shoulder.

'Joe!' I say laughing.

'Fine.' Joe says letting go of me.

I get changed into a pair of jeans and a white long sleeved top.

'Joe, we need to leave soon.' I say sitting on the edge of the bed.

'Okay, I'm up.' He says getting out of bed.

'I'm just going to go see my mum and dad quickly before they leave to go back home.' I say.

I knock on the door and wait for one of them to answer.

'Ella! Good morning!' My mum says pulling me up for a hug.

'Hello!' I say smiling and also saying 'Hello.' to my dad.

'Do you know what time you're leaving?' I ask.

'I think we're just about ready to go so about ten minutes.' My dad says.

'Okay, I was thinking that I might come up sometime next month.' I say.

'All you have to do is just text us when you do plan on coming, remember your welcome anytime!' My mum says.

'Okay, I better go as we still have to pack and then we have to set off.' I say.

'Well, we'll see you and Joe later.' My mum says smiling.

'Yup, bye.' I say giving both my mum and dad a hug.

'That's a nice site Joseph.' I say walking into the room as he is still getting changed.

'Shall I drive?' I ask and Joe nods.

'You go get 'Zalfie' whilst I put the bags in the car.' Joe says once he's dressed.

'Okay.' I say and walk down the corridoor towards Zoe and Zalfie's room, making a quick stop at Jim and Tanya's room to say that most of us have left, along with Joe's parents.

'Zoe, we're getting ready to leave.' I say as she opens the door slightly.

'I'll be down in a minute as in going to say buy to my parents then I'll be down.' Zoe replies and I nod before going downstairs to check-out.

'Ready?' I ask as Zoe runs out and into the car.

'Ready.' She says.

'Yay! We're home!' Joe says once we reach our house after the long drive.

'Zalfie' and 'Narcus' were coming over to me and Joe's for a while before we went on our honeymoon tomorrow.

'Are you coming in?' Zoe asks me once Joe gets out to get the bags.

'Yea.' I say and get up, out the car.

'Here are the happy couple!' 'Zalfie' and 'Narcus' cheer once we get in the door.

We talk for a long time about random things: the wedding, the future, our future of YouTube, and at one point we started talking about the efficiency of mushrooms.

'We better get going.' Niomi says to Marcus.

'I suppose we do.' He replies starting to stand up.

'Okay, well we'll see you later and I'll text you.' I say to Niomi as 'Zalfie'
start standing up.

'I'll see you later.' Zoe says giving me a hug. Zoe and Alfie we're going home with Niomi and Marcus so they could get a lift.

'Bye.' I say as I close the door behind them and run upstairs.

'El, are you alright?' Joe asks me, following me upstairs.

'Yea, I'm just really tired.' I say falling onto my bed.

'Okay.' Joe says lying down next to me on the bed.

I put my head on Joe's chest and slowly start falling asleep with him playing with my hair.
