Chapter 8

'El, wake up gorgeous.' Joe says in his morning voice.

I groan and rub my eyes.

'We have to leave early today to go to Vidcon.' Joe reminds me and I nod.

Since we were waking up at half six in the morning it would then take us about 12 hours to get to LA and then I think the time was about 8 hours behind so it would be in the morning as well there when we land.

'How long have we got till we have to go?' I ask.

'Another half an hour.' Joe replies kissing my forehead and going into the bathroom to have a shower.

Whilst Joe is in the shower I change into a pair of leggings, a plain white t-shirt and a grey Jack Wills jumper before putting my hair up into a messy bun.

'Are you ready to leave?' Joe asks me once I'm ready.

'Yea.' I reply as I lift the handle up on my suitcase and close the door behind me before walking down the corridor.

Once we check out of the hotel we get into the taxi that was waiting for us and it takes us to the airport.

We got through everything quickly as the overheard speakers were shouting out that our plane was ready to board.

'Are you alright?' Joe asks me once we find out seat.

'Yup.' I reply smiling and resting my head on his shoulder.

For a lot of the plane ride we talk about Vidcon and the meet ups and where we were staying. We then end up watching some films and listening to music before I drift off to sleep but only for a couple of minutes.

'El, we've landed.' Joe says and I wake up.

I take my seatbelt of and we follow everyone out of the plane.

'I'm so happy we're back in LA!' Joe says once we get off the plane.

'So am I!' I say before we get into the airport and we collect our luggage.

Once we have collected our luggage we go outside and get into a taxi that will take us to the hotel where lots of other Youtubers are.

Once we start turning into the hotel we get out and i put on my sunglasses before lifting out the suitcases and paying the driver.

'We're here!' I squeal once we get inside.

We check in before going up to our rooms and unpacking.

'Do you mind if I go see Zoe, Tan and Niomi?' I ask Joe.

'Nope, I'll come in a bit still gonna unpack.' he replies and I nod before going out of the room.

Once we had got here I texted Zoe and asked her what room she was in so that when I got here I could see them all.

Once I got to her door I decided not to knock and go in and jump on her.

I quietly walk in, hoping not to make any noise.

The door makes a little bit of noise but I'm able to close it without then noticing.

She was talking with Niomi, Marcus, Tanya, Jim and Alfie.

'BOO!' I shout putting my hands on Zoe's shoulders.

'Oh my god. ELLA!' She squeal giving me a tight hug, Tanya and Niomi joining in.

'Hello!' I say laughing as they all let go.

'How was your honeymoon? Tell us all about it!' Tanya asks/says.

For a while I talk about everything we done and how it was.

'It sounds really good.' Niomi says.

'It was!' I reply as Joe comes in.

''Ello' Joe says.

'Joe!' Zoe says going up to him and giving him a hug.

Once we all sit down Joe wraps his arm around my waist.

'I think I'm going to go to bed now.' I whisper to Joe and he nods.

'Okay, I'll come too.' He replies.

'We're going to go now.' I say smiling at everyone and they all say 'Goodnight'.
