"Yay. Work," you mumbled sarcastically as you dumped your bags in your locker. As you had promised, you had moved out of Williams place. Although you still wanted to avoid your house as much as possible; so you decided to just bring your bags to work to avoid a trip. You rested your head against your locker door; letting out a loud sigh. That book gave you the absolute chills!
You let out another loud sigh as you smacked your head against your locker door.
"Someone looks happy."
You turned your head to see Mike walking out of a shower cubicle; slapping a hat on his head. "Don't you know it," you replied with another sigh.
"Wow, something must really be up. I've counted three sighs in the last twenty seconds," Mike replied as he walked up to you. "You ok Boss?" You looked into his eyes as he leant down to study your face. "Your not sick are you? Because if you are I think you should really go home and rest."
"It's nothing," you murmured as you stripped your gaze away from him, "I uh, got your name badge and a set of keys sorted for you." You awkwardly held the items out to him as he took them into his hands.
"Thank you. I was actually missing, the caps lock key on my laptop. So thank you for this."
You stared at Mike as a pained expression filled your face. "You love torturing me don't you."
"I'll admit. I find it somewhat amusing."
You rolled your eyes before slapping your own hat on your head. "Shall we go?" You asked; gesturing towards the door.
Mike shrugged before exiting the room. You took a deep breath to calm your shaking hands before walking out after him.
You were instantly deafened by the sound of screaming children. People chattered loudly and an energetic song was being played by the animatronic band. Looking at the place now everything could almost be counted as... Normal.
You knew otherwise though. There was something more going on. There was this... Feeling. Deep inside you. You couldn't help but feel like everything was about to fall apart.
"Hey (Y/n)! And... Mike..."
You turned your head to see William approaching. He smiled at you and Mike although there was a strange look in his eyes as he looked at Mike. "How are you (Y/n)?" William questioned as he wrapped an arm around your shoulder and pulled you close.
"I'm... Good..." You replied; confused by William's strange behaviour.
"Good morning Sir," Mike smiled as he held a hand out towards your friend. You felt William tense as he held you tighter, before slowly reaching a hand out to shake Mike's.
He seemed almost... Extra protective? Almost like he was trying to prove a point to Mike.
"Oh hey (Y/n)! Would I be able to talk to you quickly? In private?"
"Sure," you replied as he yanked you away.
"Hey uh, I was wondering. Your on nightshift tomorrow right?"
You nodded your head as you raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"Well, I was wondering if you uh... I dunno, maybe wanted to... Catch a movie uh, with me. I could uh, pick you up around 6:20 after your night shift?" He stuttered awkwardly; rubbing the back of his neck with his hand.
You looked to the ground for a moment deep in thought. You suppose it'll be fun to spend some time with him doing something fun. Although you just felt so cautious around him. So many things just didn't seem to add up anymore. Then again. It may help him.
"Ok," you replied after a moment, "Yea ok. Sounds like fun."
A bright smile stretched across William's face and he hopped from foot to foot excitedly. "Ok I'll pick you up after your night shift tomorrow then," he said with a smile before beginning to stagger off backwards. "Oh! I forgot but..." He hesitated for a moment; looking conflicted, but soon continued as a smile crossed his face, "I think I might have seen the Spring Bonnie suit somewhere. I'll uh, see if I can get it."
"Really?" You questioned, "That's great!"
"Yea," William replied. His pale blue eyes seemed to shine, "It is."
He began to saunter off happily and Mike soon approached. "You got a date?" He questioned quietly. You spun around to face him and noticed... Hurt? In his gaze. No. That couldn't be right...
"It's not a date," you replied chuckling slowly, "It's just a couple of friends hanging out."
"You sure he thinks that?"
You turned your head to watch the dark violet haired man exit the building cheerfully. "Course he does," you replied slowly.
Although... You weren't too sure anymore.
"You ok?" the brunet beside you questioned.
"I'm just swell," you answered.
Although you weren't feeling it. You didn't know what was happening anymore. At least the Spring Bonnie suit had been found.
