The raven-haired male stared at his alarm clock, just waiting for it to go off. He hadn't gotten any sleep. No matter how much he tried, nothing worked. So for the past few hours, he had been lying in bed, thoughts flooding his mind to no end. He was exhausted, to say the least. He counted the seconds, just waiting for the clock to change from 5:59 to 6:00. fifty-five, fifty-six, fifty-seven, fifty-eight, fifty-nine-
The beyond annoying sound rang throughout the room, cutting his thoughts off. He groaned before smacking the clock, causing it to snooze. "Hwang Hyunjin! I hope you didn't just hit the snooze button! I don't want to hear that you were late for school!" His mother yelled from the hallway.
"I'm getting up." He said in a tired voice, just loud enough for her to hear. "I hope so. I have to go now, so I expect you to get ready and go to school on time." She said sternly before leaving. She didn't even say bye. Hyunjin was used to it though. He rarely ever got to spend time with his parents, as they were always working. When he was able to spend time with them, it was almost always unpleasant.
The exhausted male forced himself to sit up, no matter how much he and his body screamed at him to lie back down and fall asleep. He repulsed the idea of going to school. Changbin and Minho both wouldn't be at school because of their time off, and he couldn't hang out with Seungmin for obvious reasons. He doubted that Chan would want to see him. He had no one to be with, no one to help him take his mind off of his constant thoughts.
Nevertheless, he managed to get out of bed. He'd rather feel like shit all day than deal with his angry parents. He stumbled over to his closet, almost tripping over his own feet. He groggily searched through his closet for something to wear. Hyunjin didn't feel like wearing anything nice so he grabbed a random hoodie and jeans. He headed to his bathroom to have a quick shower that would hopefully help him feel more awake.
After his shower, he felt a little bit better and he put his clothes on. Usually he would put on some light makeup, but what's the point of looking good when you feel awful? After getting ready, he gathered all of his things and headed down the stairs. He walked past the kitchen, not bothering to find something to eat. He would often skip meals because he felt that if he ate too much, he would become unattractive, not to mention he felt awful.
He contemplated just staying home and sleeping, but he knew it was a bad idea. He groaned before checking the time. It was time to head off to school. He begrudgingly headed to the door, grabbing his things on the way. He slipped on his shoes and slung a backpack strap over his shoulder. The raven-haired male proceeded out the door as he put an earbud in his ear. He tripped over his feet occasionally as he tiredly trudged down the street. He lived close to the school, so he walked there everyday.
Before he knew it, he was in front of the school; his only escape from home. Hyunjin let out a shaky breath as he approached the doors. He ran his hands through his hair before pulling the door open and heading into the large building. Avoiding everyone's usual stares, he made his way over to his locker. He could hear people whispering things about him, but he couldn't care less in the moment. Hyunjin was far too tired to care about what people had to say about him. He could probably guess the things that they were saying anyway.
He struggled to unlock his locker, his hands shaking. Normally feeling everyone's stares on him didn't affect him, but because he was tired, stressed and felt insecure it affected him greatly. He eventually managed to unlock his locker before stuffing his bag into it. He grabbed his things, closing and locking the locker. He wanted to leave that area as soon as possible to hopefully escape the piercing stares he received.
As he walked down the hall, he spotted Seungmin who seemed happy. He felt a pang in his heart. It hurt to see him happy without him. He knew he fucked up, badly. He knew that obviously Seungmin was allowed to be happy without him. But despite all of that, he felt pained. Why was he feeling this way, anyway? Seungmin is just a friend, after all.
"Dude, can you move? you're blocking the hallway." A random guy said angrily. Hyunjin turned to look at the guy before clueing in on the situation. "S-sorry! I'm sorry." He sputtered. "You apologized, but can you move? Some of us have to get to class, you know." He urged. "R-right! Sorry..." He apologized once again, quickly moving to the side. He glanced back over to Seungmin, making eye contact with him. The younger had watched the older embarrass himself. The brief eye contact was broken when Seungmin looked away. In that brief moment, Seungmin looked as if he had forgot about what happened with the latter, as he had a look of amusement on his face before realizing.
Hyunjin sighed as he stared at the younger. He needed to fix things. He needed to see Seungmin's smile again. The tall male walked off as he heard the bell ring. He was determined to fix his mistakes.

Hey everyone! Did you miss me? :p
What are your thoughts on this chapter?
I'm soooo sorry for the long wait, I've been overwhelmed with school and moving lately, it has all been a long process. It's still going on, but I have had a little more time lately so I wanted to get this chapter out. It was also harder to think of ideas since this chapter is about Hyunjin.
I apologize it's so short, I just wanted to get something out to make up for all the time you guys had to wait. Hopefully next chapter won't be too much of a wait.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this chapter! :]
