I heard an unexpected knock on the front door. I walked over and hesitated before opening it. You never know who could come knocking these days.
I open the door and see a very familiar face.
"Isabel!" I exclaimed as we embraced.
"Alma, it's been too long my dear." Isabel said as she stepped inside. I lead her to the living room so we could chat.
"How have you been darling?" I asked.
"I've been alright. Nothing too crazy happens in my life." Isabel responded. She was scooting closer to me. Her lilac perfume was engulfing my senses. "Uhm, so Isabel...what brings you here?"
"I came to see you dear." She said. "Because I love you."
