chapter seventeen, part two

“you, what!?”

“i said i love you, no need to act so shocked.” heejin stated. she couldn't exactly pretend she was joking, or play it off as the start of a longer sentence, so she owned up to it. “never heard about love?”

“i'm not stupid, i just wasn't ready for such.. information.” eunha excused.

“am i not going to get a response?” heejin poked her finger into eunha's shoulder, not looking up at the latter's eyes.

eunha stared at heejin's finger.

a sudden urge entered her mind, and since her self-control was close to non-existent, she did as her mind said.

eunha's lips came in contact with heejin's.

heejin didn't expect that answer, but she didn't reject it either. she kissed back. it was slow and tender, nothing more than a kiss. eunha smiled, and so did heejin, before they both pulled away.

“i'm still waiting for a response though.” heejin laughed. eunha punched her shoulder lightly, before resting her chin on it.

“dork..” eunha mumbled.
