In the badminton court,
While you played with him
My mind was ticking.
You said you have experience
You don't like my resilience.
You want to play by others' rules
While I love acting like goons.
You want me to follow your footsteps
Always giving me instructions and preps.
I want to travel the world
You want me to be in the olde worlde.
I want to be carefree and wackadoodle
While you want me to be responsible.
I want to dance till the world ends
You won't risk it if it can't be mend.
I want to read till I drop
But it is what you want me to stop.
This is my life, I want to play by my rules.
You have lived yours, can you not keep your cool?
I am not you, neither were you me.
Different experiences will have different keys.
We are not two hearts with one life
Rather one with a first aid and the other with a knife.
The more you will push the more I will resist
I am not you and the real me does exist.
I want to make my choices
But can I really make you disappointed?
