RECAPPP: As soon as I turned I was still in awe, and of course as I turned around, Millicent, Tracey, and Daphne were all staring at me extremely shocked.
I looked at them and then looked behind me and asked "What ? haha" They all ran up to me and Daphne said "Y/N YOU WERE TALKING TO. TOM.RIDDLE." I was confused as to why this was such a big deal, so I said "Yeah? what's wrong with that?" Tracey said "Only that he's literally the hottest guy in school." Again, I was confused lmao "He's okay, I mean he's not ugly but he's not the hottest guy I've ever seen, plus I literally told you guys we were partners yesterday at lunch and you didn't react like this" Millicent looked shocked "We didn't think you were being SERIOUSS" "Well I wasn't, he's my partner and we're "studying", (I said in quotations) in the garden tomorrow" They all looked surprised and literally did not say a word. They started walking towards the great hall for dinner and I followed after them.

We got to the great hall and as we got there we sat down at the end of the table and as we did food appeared in front of us. Of course we were all talking about our dresses for the yule ball. Some people started laughing around us and I look down the table to see that Tom and his little gang were all laughing at the Gryffindor's, all except Snape. It seemed that a Slytherin girl named Bellatrix Black had poured some juice on a Gryffindor named Lily, everyone at the Gryffindor table was laughing except another Gryffindor named Molly. We all kind of just brushed it off because it seemed all the Slytherins bullied the muggle-born students. In my opinion it was stupid. If you're a witch/ wizard than you're a witch/ wizard it shouldn't matter who your family is. And even so, Lily was an exceptional witch. We all went back to talking and somehow, someway they started talking about if Tom Riddle were to ask me to the yule ball. I mean don't get me wrong I am absolutely not opposed to it, but I hated dances as it is and I didn't exactly want to go with someone.
"I'm telling you y/n it would be so much better if you just went with someone" Tracey explained to me, "and yet no one is going to ask me". My eyes traced their way down the table to Tom who seemed to also be looking at me, we made eye contact and I quickly turned my head back to my friends.
Dinner was over and all throughout it I was wondering why Riddle would want to look at me, seemed weird. "Oh well" I thought as my friends and I collectively decided to spend the rest of our night in the library studying. We all gathered our things and made our way to the library. We entered and it was bare not a single soul in sight. It would've been completely dark, if it wasn't for the lanterns lining the walls. We all grabbed books each on different subjects, I grabbed a potions book, Tracey a DADA book, Millicent a Herbology book, and Daphne a divination book. Daphne's mother was a very talented witch in the arts of divination so Daphne was very interested in it and spent most of her time studying it.
As I walked was running through the dark forest with branches and thorns cutting at my face, I heard a voice behind me "y/n this is what you wanted". Suddenly I heard an echoing scream and it sounded so much like my mothers voice. I tripped over a root and fell to the ground sliding from how hard I was running. "Come my dear, you are safe now" Said my mother. I started crying and screamed
I awoke in the library very abruptly with the three girls sitting around me but it wasn't as lit as before. "Oh fuck we fell asleep in here" Ya know I wondered why no one came to wake us up but whatever. I heard a shuffle behind me which was coming from the restricted section, "weird" I thought because no one, not even teachers were allowed in the restricted section. Ya know I always wondered why we even had a restricted section if no one could read the books. I saw a figure exiting the section quietly and turned immediately to see me staring at them.
Of course, it had to be the one and only, Tom Riddle.
