17. First Confession

-the next day-

Yesterday was fun and all, but now I feel a bit sore from all that fighting... right now I'm just walking towards where the confessional is. When I'm there I go in and see the camera right there, so I push the record button and sit down. Breathing in and out I say "yeah, I know, it's weird to see a half co-worker of the show in here. Here's the thing, I don't know if Chris will show what happened yesterday, but stuff went down. I went on a date with... wait, he actually doesn't care if I say it - Duncan, and when we tried to lie at first, I said it was a camper on the other team."

Thinking back to yesterday I smugly chuckle a bit and say "Heather was beyond mad, so we had a fight outside of the main lodge. Trust me, if you're thinking I look beat up bad, you should see her!" Laughing at the memory I sigh happily. "It was fun, but she barely got much on me, the only reason on why I'm bandaged up is because I fought a bear. It scratched me up a bit, and-" a roar caught my attention as this place started to shake a bit. I scream a bit as I almost fall, but I tried my best to keep this place up, and somehow managed to do it.

When I got it upright I run out and see that the bear is on the other side, it must've heard me and decided to get its revenge. 'I don't wanna fight right now though....' I think annoyed as I stretch, but the bear tried scratching at my face. I yelp as I barely dodge 'RUN!!' I think and start running away as the bear's chasing after me quickly. "HEEEEELP!!" I scream out as I run, hearing the bear's footsteps following after me getting closer and closer. That's when I heard a loud thud, so I turn around and see the bear have a tranquilizer dart in its head.

Looking in front of me I see Chef with the dart-gun before he blew the front of it off to cool it down, so I sigh and run over to him. Hugging him tight I say "thanks, Chef!" "No problem, sweetie, now go have fun while ya can. You already know there's a challenge tomorrow!" I groan saying "is it the marathon, eat and-" "yes. Now be quiet before the others hear!" Chef says and got me out of the hug and pushed me forward. I roll my eyes playfully and go back to the confessional and start recording again.

"Sorry for that interruption, the..." I stop to look around, then I whisper "the bear tried to have its revenge with me. Even though Duncan was the one that knocked it out" then I sit up straight and say "oh my gosh though, he is amazing. I never thought that I'd get a boy out of this crazy show! Yes, Chris, I said crazy. You gotta admit, bringing teens unbeknownst that it's an actual camp, then doing insane stunts is pretty crazy. Yet my own 'boy', we haven't made it official yet, but he's a juvenile delinquent that came from juvie."

Thinking that over I say "but I think he has a sweet spot for me... it's crazy, and I know I'm gonna sound so much like a girly girl... he's just so perfect. I can't see myself with any other dude now that I've met him... though I wish I could say the same about him. He's probably seen much better from juvie, or from wherever he's from.... I'm just the host's step-daughter." With that I turn the camera off and tear up a bit, so I wipe the tear and stand up and go out. Walking around I see that Weeza isn't in her usual shorts and t-shirt, so I raise an eyebrow at her.

She seen me and waves slightly "hey... know where the fire thing is??" "You mean where the campfire usually is after challenges?" I ask confused. Weeza nods saying "yeah, that!.. where is it?" "You don't remember?" "No, not at all, I get lost easily. Not to mention I forget directions easily" Weeza says and shrugs her shoulders, so I chuckle. "Just go towards the docks, then walk left until you see the stumps in the clearing up on the hill." She nods and says "thanks, (Y/n)!" Then she runs off, so I tilt my head confused and go to find Duncan.

After a few minutes I find him and I say "Dunc, I think Weeza's meeting someone" he raised an eyebrow "how do you know?" "She's dressed differently." "So?" "And she's going to a specific place" "how do you know that?" "She asked me for directions." "Okay, let's go check this out" Duncan says and grabs my hand, so we start going towards where the fire pit is. We hide behind some bushes and see Weeza and Cody getting along, so I look at Duncan. He's looking at me with a smirk whispering "I knew they were into eachother" I playfully roll my eyes.

"Yeah, but did you know I was into you??" I whisper ask smugly, so he taps his chin and smirks at me saying "yeah" then he pecked my lips as he still looks at the two. I blush and feel myself freeze at this, but hear Weeza say "pfft- dude" then she laughs a bit. Cody just says "yeah, I know... I'm awesome" then he tried to flex, so I roll my eyes at him. "You don't have to try to flirt, Cody.... I think you're an amazing dude without you trying to impress me." My eyebrows furrow at that 'seriously, she looks like she could do better, yet she's here proving me wrong.'

Duncan noticed my look and whispers "I know, I think it's weird too" then he just says "yeah, I'm going back to my cabin." I nod whispering "same, if I wanted to experience a date, I'd just ask you out again instead." Duncan chuckles at that as we finally reach the cabins again "now I'll say, see you tomorrow." He nods and pulled me close to him by my waist saying "see you tomorrow" then he just walked away. I blush and try to calm it down as I walk into the cabin and see some of the girls in here.
