You smile harder
Your heart beats faster
Your palms gets sweaty
And suddenly your throat is clogged up,
You lost the words to speak,
And all you can think about is smiling with the person in front of you.
You changed me.
And I'm so thankful.
You made the stone cold heart beat again.
Giving me flutters like a little child.
I once heard of the expression of butterflies that tickle your stomach.
An overwhelming feeling of warmth that coats your body.
The tingles of sensations that send waves of happiness through your blood.
And there isn't a wrong in a world.
I saw heaven in your eyes,
I reached out to the gates with wonder on my mind,
For you were the one for me.
Bringing me from the darkness,
You pulled me out from black,
Shined your light on me,
Now I can see clear enough.
Give me strength,
Hold me tight,
For I only need you,
To keep me alive.
