Chapter 36: Avoiding him.

Sabrina's P.O.V.

"It's been a long time since I saw you, Bree." When he said that, I immediately hugged him. I miss this guy. He did not even call me when he went to Spain. His a Spanish by the way, a pure blood spanish. Like me.

"I miss you Pie." That's what I'm calling him. Pie, short for buko pie. Joke, short for Pierce.

"I said, I was FINE! Would you! Get out of my sight!" It's Mateo. I looked at him. He's on the floor and his angrily staring at me I mean, us

Lumapit naman si Pierce sa kanya. "Bata, be more gentleman. A woman should be treated right, hindi sinasaktan." I can now feel the tension between the two. I just don't understand. I know that they weren't close nor enemies either. And I heard that he called Mateo "bata", that's embarrassing.

"Tsk, coming from you..." Wait, I did not hear what Mateo said before that.

Before they fight, I immediately run to Pierce and told him that we must go. I don't want to cause any trouble. I feel sorry to Mateo but I just ignore him.

Dahil kaunti na ang mga tao sa paligid ay aking nang kinausap si Pie. "Pierce, can I ask you something?"

"Okay, what is it?"

"I thought your in Spain, bakit ka nandito?" I asked.

"Why, ayaw mo na ba ako makita?" I could see the sadness in his eyes.

"No, it's not what I'm saying, it's just surprising to see you." Gradually I saw him smiling. I prefer him to always smile than to be sad.

"I thought you don't wanna see me. By the way, dito na ako mag aaral." Bigla naman ako napatigil sa paglalakad.

"Really?! Oh, I mean. What?" Oh my goodness! Bakit ganun ang inaasal ko?

"It's true, lumipat na ako dito. Surprising lang kasi dito rin kita makikita. I'm so bored in Spain kaya dito nalang ako sa Pilipinas ulit mag aaral." Ohhh, I know now. Ipinakita nya naman ang kanyang I.D. na nakasabit sa kanyang leeg, he's a senior and I'm a freshman.

Tumingin naman ako sa wrist watch ko. Bumili na ako ng bago, kailangan ko pa naman ito.

"9:00 A.M."

I only have five minutes before mag time."So Pie, saan ang building mo dito?"

"Sa kabila lang."

Napaisip tuloy ako. Ang Senior Building ay may sariling Cafeteria, so why he?

"Nga pala Pie, why are you in OUR Cafeteria?" Diniinan ko pa ang salitang "our". Hindi ko naman sinasabing bawal pumunta ang mga senior sa freshman building but I'm still curious about it.

"Puno na kasi doon saka wala nang upuan kaya dito nalang ako pumunta." I get it.

"Okay, pero kumain kana ba?" I asked him.

"Uhmm, not yet. Nung makita kasi kitang malalim na hinawakan ni Mateo sa braso, simugod agad ako." Wait up? Did he say his name?

"Wait a minute, do you know Mateo?" I seriously asked him.

Nakita kong nag iba ang kanyang expression. Is he nervous?

"Tss, that child. I always hear his name at our building. That's all." Napatango nalang ako.

"I see, sikat pala yung lalaking yun sa Senior Building." Ano pa bang masasabi ko, he's a model and he's also handsome. What?

"Yeah, but Bree can I have some favor?"

"Okay, what's it?"

Matagal bago sya mag salita. "It's about that guy, pwede mo bang iwasan ang lalaking yun." Seryoso naman akong napatingin sa kanya, bakit ko naman sya iiwasan?

"Psh. Hindi naman kami close sa isa't isa Pie, saka we're just classmates, nothing at all."

*Sigh* Oh, I smell, mint. Char. "Good, I just wanted you to be safe." Napakunot naman ako ng noo, I'm safe naman kaya. Napaka protective rin kasi ni Pierce gaya lang ni Kuya.

*Tinggg! Bell rings!*

"Gosh! Time na pala. I gotta go. See you nalang mamaya." Sabi ko habang tumatakbo.

"Okay! Good luck Bree!" Rinig kong sigaw nya.

Tumingin naman ako sa kanya sabay thumbs up. While I was running, I could not avoid being pressured. Like, I have so many questions.

Mateo's P.O.V.

When I saw that guy walking towards in our place, nagawa kong saktan si Sabrina. Ginawa ko lang yun dahil sa lalaking yun. I don't really want to hurt her but I just did. And it was because of this fvcking mission.

And, did he just call me bata? Tss. He is really older than me, older than you think.
