You slid the silver key into the lock for your apartment, hearing the satisfying click. You slid opened the door, entering your shared apartment with Finn. The two of you had moved in together a while ago, and it was amazing. You got the luck of waking up to him every morning, holding you close to his warm body. Often, when you got home from work, Finn was there to greet you at the door. Yes, he did work. He made quite a bit of money with his youtube career, but he held another job, if youtubing every failed.

You quietly set down your purse and hung up your coat, wondering if Finn had fallen asleep, as he wasn't there to greet you. You slid of your shoes, carefully placing them in the closet by your door, padding into the living room. The apartment was warm compared to the chilling bite of winter outside, and it felt wonderful as the heat warmed your rosy cheeks. "Finn?" you call out softly, wondering if he hadn't heard you come in. There was no reply, only the creak of the apartment settling. You sighed, making your way to the kitchen, fetching yourself some hot chocolate.

You set the kettle on the stove, letting it heat up while you prepared a cup of the coco mix. Your head lifted when your heard almost inaudible sniffing. "Finn?" You called again, worry crossing your features and swelling in your chest. You stepped from the kitchen, knowing the kettle would take a while to boil. You moved through the apartment, down the many sets of halls until you got to your shared room. You placed your hand on the knob, listening close. It sounded as if the cries were coming from here. You gently pushed open the door, looking around the dark room.

A hunched figure sat on the bed, broad shoulders shaking. You immediately identified it as Finn, and rushed over to the man. His brown locks were ruffled and messy, as if he had run his hands through it multiple times. His face was hidden behind his hands, but it was obvious he was crying. "Finn?" you whispered gently, setting a hand on his shoulder. Finn jerked away, turning on you. "How could you!" He sobbed. Your heart broke as you took in his red, puffy eyes and tear stained cheeks. "Was I not good enough?" He continued.

Puzzlement crossed your face. "Finn, wha-?" You were at a loss of words. What was Finn going on about? "I know you don't love me Y/N, but how could you cheat?" His words were disbelieving. You had known of Finn's past with girls, all of his relationships ending horribly with the girl leaving Finn, but not without a few harsh words. "Finn, what are you going on about?" You mumbled. Finn snatched up a tabloid that had been resting next to him, tossing it to you. You fumbled with the catch, before flipping open the magazine.

"Page 22." Whispered Finn. You flipped to the designated page, gaping as you red the headline in bold. Cheating Girlfriend?? Is Y/N Y/L/N, girlfriend of Finn Harries cheating??

Your eyes scanned over the colorfully decorated page in surprise. There was a picture of you pecking a laughing boy's cheek. You quickly scanned the page, your inside of your cheek almost bleeding from how hard you were biting it. Finally, you burst into laughter. You placed down the magazine, cupping Finn's sorrowful face. "Finn! That's my cousin, Y/C/N! He was in town for a few days, and I caught up with him!" You giggled.

Finn's eyebrows rose, his cheeks turning slightly pink with embarrassment. His mouth opened to spew words, but nothing came out. You slowly grinned, kissing Finn's lips chastely. "Finn, I love you so much. I would never, ever cheat on you. Ever!" Finn sighed, pulling from your grip. "I'm sorry babe." He rested his cheek against his palm. You scooted closer to your boyfriend, wrapping your arms around his large shoulders. "I know your history with women, Finny. It's ok to be afraid. But please consult me if you think something's wrong, ok? I love you too damn much to hurt you."

Finn smiled at his small nickname, nodding. "Ok. I love you too." He leaned over, pressing his soft lips to yours. You smiled into the soft kiss, letting your hands drop to rest on his chest. You detached your lips when you heard the kettle go off. You giggled, getting to your feet. "Want some coco?" You asked, opening the bedroom door. Finn nodded. quickly chasing after you as you ran to the kitchen, the whistling of the kettle growing louder. You turned off the kettle, watching in wonder as smoke arose from the pot. You reached up to get another mug, grabbing another packet of coco.

You poured the packet in the white mug before pouring the boiling hot water in the cups. You stirred it a few times with a spoon before handing one to Finn. He smiled broadly, blowing on the winter beverage. You leaned against the granite counter, copying his motions. You took a tentative sip, wincing at the burn of your tongue. Finn giggled, setting down his mug. "So, what'd you do today?" You asked curiously, setting yours down as well. Finn moved forward to rest his hands on your waist, resting his chin on your head.

"I recorded and edited some videos, picked up the groceries, you know, stuff." You hummed, wrapping your harms around Finn's torso, resting your head on his chest. You closed your eyes, enjoying the safety you felt in Finn's arms. "I love you." You whispered into his shirt. Finn caught the words, and you felt his heart speed up slightly. "I love you too. I'm sorry for making the false accusations. It was stupid, and I know you would never cheat." You smiled at the touching words. "Thank you baby." The silence of the kitchen was comforting as Finn swayed your bodies slowly.
