Third Person P.O.V

"God! I hate this hospital so much! Can't we change it? Our pack hospital is way better than this one." Taehyung complains as he walks inside the hospital hall with Jimin.

"Tae?" Jimin calls and there is a tension in his tone.

"Hmm?" Taehyung looks at him as he asks, raising his eyelashes a bit.

"Didn't you use the portion this month?" Jimin asks and the omega frowns as he asks, "Yes, I did. Why?"

"You're smelling." Taehyung gapes at the news as he gulps hard. He tries to sniff his own body but doesn't get any scent.

"You won't get your own scent, stupid." Jimin says while pressing the button of the lift.

"Fuck! My heat is nearing. God! I hate this feeling. I hate everything!" Taehyung sighs as he says while settling his red cap in its proper direction.

But after a second, he stops. He stops moving, he stops blinking, he even stops breathing. An alluring scent hits his nostrils so good that he forgets about everything around him. His wolf howls inside of him in joy. It's pure happiness that he has been searching for so so long.

It's a wild scent. Feels like a mixture of earth and calmness. Taehyung calms down. His body relaxes as he feels like he is in heaven. His knees go weak and his body isn't ready to look around and search for the person who owns this intoxicating scent.

He should be excited, right? After all, he got this amazing feeling after 7 years of his life.

But something inside of him is stopping him from looking behind and searching for that person. Some fear, some insecurities. It can be a hallucination, right?

How come suddenly after so long he found his.....................mate?

He isn't ready!

You are Tae. Just look behind. He is there. Waiting for you.

Taehyung wants to cry when he hears his wolf making him believe the situation. The omega takes a deep breath. He can hear Jimin saying something about his smell and all but he doesn't care about that now.

The omega wonders, does his mate also recognize him? Is he feeling the same vulnerability as he is feeling right now? Is his mate a boy or a....!

"Tae!" The omega jerks up with that call when Jimin calls him almost shouting.

He looks at the shorter head with wide eyes as he expresses, "Huh?"

"Are you even listening, what I'm saying? What are you thinking? We need to call Hobiyung. You need a portion right now. I....."

Taehyung looks behind finally. He doesn't care about what Jimin is saying right now. Jimin got his scent that means his mate also got his scent. He looks around the hall but there is no one who is looking directly at him and waiting for him.

Suddenly Taehyung feels a push because Jimin holds his hand and shoves him inside the lift while scolding, "I'm talking to you! What happened to you? Aren't you scared? These witches will kill you if they find you are an omega."

Jimin whispers those words. Taehyung glances outside while the lift door closes and he sees them. For a fraction of seconds but he saw. A pair of amber irises looking directly at his ocean blue ones.

Taehyung got goosebumps. A huge one. His whole body shivers merely at that look which barely stays for a nanosecond. His breathing got heavier and his heartbeat fastens more than before. [A/N: I got goosebumps while writing this. God! I imagine too hard. 😅 Did you guys have too? let me know. 🤗]
