"The next day again John was standing with two of his disciples, and he looked at Jesus as he walked by and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God!"  The two disciples heard him say this, and they followed Jesus. Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, "What are you seeking?" And they said to him, "Rabbi" (which means Teacher), "where are you staying?"  He said to them, "Come and you will see." So they came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day, for it was about the tenth hour. - John 1:35-39

In life, there are people that looks up to you. Maybe they are your friends, or your brothers/sisters or maybe because they just like your personality. God wants to tell you today that you must take that opportunity to introduce Him to them. Make Jesus known to them.

Don't let them look up to you or follow you, introduce Jesus so they could look up to Him and follow Him. This is for their salvation.

In the passage, when John announced who Jesus is—his disciples begun to follow Jesus. That moment, Jesus was not yet preaching or showing signs and miracles. But because John made Jesus known to people by announcing who He is (the Lamb of God, the sacrifice, the Messiah, the Son of God who will die on the cross), John's two disciples acknowledged Jesus.

People are longing for a Savior, for a Lord, for a real God—they are just unaware.

Now that Jesus saw that these two are following Him, He asked them what they need. The two servants answered "Where are you staying?" this only reveals that they want to stay with this Savior.

And Jesus said, "Come and you will see." this is the saying that goes this way: believe first and you will see.

The passage summarizes the verse: faith comes from hearing (Romans 10:17). If those two disciples didn't hear who Jesus is, they will not put their faith on Him and they will not follow Him.

You have known Him, put your faith to Him and followed Him because someone preach Jesus to you, you must do the same to others.

Preach Jesus! In your words and in your works!

Shalom!
Glory be all to God! :)
