Chapter 8

*monday*

Heleyna's POV

I wake up to the most annoying voice in the universe. You guessed it. Matt. He was jumping on my bed.

"HELEYNA GET UP, TIME TO GO TO SCHOOL." Matt yells.

"You mean hell." I groan. I push him off my bed causing him to fall hard on the wooden floor.

"Ow!" he says and makes a pouty face as I start laughing.

"Get out I have to get ready." I say and push him out my room.

"Fine I will go annoy your brother." He says and walks over to Michael's room.

I go into the bathroom and take a quick shower. I get out and dry my hair and go to the closest. Since it was a bit cold today I decided to wear a white knitted sweater and some leggings. I grab my black combat boots and slip them on.

I walk down stairs and smell......BACON!!!!!!

I sprint down the rest of the stairs and head to the counter where I find a plate of bacon and eggs were set in front of me.

"Morning sweetie." My mom says pouring me apple juice.

"Morning." I respond with a mouth full of bacon.

"Nash and his friend Cameron are coming to walk with you."

"Okay."

My mom grabs her plate and heads down to the garage where her office is and starts doing her paper work and stuff like that. A few minutes later there was a knock at the door.

I grab my last piece of bacon and open the door and see Nash and Cameron.

"Is that bacon?" Nash asks reaching over to grab it. I smack his hand away.

"OW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" He asks rubbing the back of his hand.

"For trying to snatch my bacon." I say. He makes a pouty face. I couldn't resist, he looked too cute.

"Fine ,you can have a piece." I say.

"YAY!" He squeaks with his hands in the air like a 5 year old boy. I roll my eyes and give him a piece.

"None for Cameron?" Cameron asks.

"No." I reply.

*skipping the walk*

We arrive at school and instead of us heading our separate ways, I decide to stick with them. You know just in case Maddie comes. We keep walking until we go to the cafeteria and sit down at a table.

"So I've heard we have a new student at this school." Carter says walking up to us and sitting down next to me with Cameron and Nash across from us.

"Who is it?" Cameron asks.

"I don't know his name, but I've heard he is already good friends with Hayes and dating Maddie." Carter replies.

"Good luck to him." I mumble to myself referring to Maddie.

We sit down and keep talking about the new kid until Maddie came with the new guy and sat at the table next to us. I get a good look at the guy. He is tall and has black hair with piercing brown eyes. He is wearing a plain white T-shirt and jeans with worn out gray vans. He looks very familiar, maybe too familiar. Oh no, I know him. I can't be around him. I just can't.

"Um I have to go to my locker." I say trying to think of an excuse.

"Oh I'll come with you." Nash says. Oh no.
