It was almost closing time for The Agency, everyone was silently working and the only thing heard was the idle words of the henchmen every now and then and Midas checking in over his earpiece. Other than that, it was peaceful.

Until now.

"WAIT! WAIT! Please! You've gotta get this to Midas!"

I pop my head up, hearing a voice scream those words as they were being pushed away by henchmen.

"If you don't leave I'll use force!" The henchman said.

I got up, fixing my dress and skipping over to where this all was happening.

"Gentlemen, let him in." I say, shaking my head.

The henchman let him go and dusted off his suit, going back to his duty.

"Y/N! Glad you just prevented me from getting killed!"

"Yeah, you're always getting yourself into these messes. Anyways, uh, what's going on?"

"Oh, me and Tek are having a pool party!"

"Drift, you made a whole big stink about how you're never inviting any of us to your parties ever again because Midas never comes, Skye's too young to have fun, Tina likes to spike the punch, Meowscles takes all the ladies,  Maya doesn't drink, Brutus gets nak-"

"That's enough! Please, y/n, PLEASE never mention that again." Drift said, grabbing my shoulders and shaking me.

"Alright, alright!" I say, laughing.

I step away from him and hum, I take the small piece of paper out of his hand and start reading it. That was until I felt a hand on my shoulder, making me jump.

"Y/N, is this gentleman bothering you?" Midas asked, smirking.

"Excuse me I'll have you know, Goldie locks, I'm not bothering her!"

"Then what's going on?"

"Drift is inviting us all to a pool party." I say, taking the paper and shoving it to Midas' chest.

He looked at me before looking at the paper.

Drift cleared his throat and chuckled, "right. Actually, I was only inviting you and Midas..."

"Me and huh?" I said, looking at him.

"Just you and Midas. You guys need time out without the other agents... come on! I know you guys are a thin-"

"Are not.." Midas said.

"Who's to say we aren't?" I say, smirking.

"Y/n!"

"Im just joking.." I say, shaking my head and giggling.

Midas turned red and looked down crossing his arms. "Whatever, that's not important. And your pool party isn't either, Drift. We can't keep leaving our duties for your parties. They just end up in us hungover and having tons of regrets the next morning..."

Me and drift both looked at Midas, I looked at drift before saying, "I'm in... I'll come."

"Wait you're not going without me tho-"

"Why? I'm an adult, I'm allowed to do things on my own..." I say, smirking again.

Midas pouted, "whatever I'm coming too."

"Yeah! You're both coming!" Drift said, fist bumping the air.

"Tonight at 8!" He said before walking away.

"Wait.. tonight!?"

It was was official closing time now. I shut my laptop and turned the cameras sensitive up before getting up from my desk. I stretched a bit before feeling a presence behind me. I furrow my eyebrows and hold a hand on the holster strapped to my leg, turning around slowly.
