I called momma and told her what they said
I told her they was talking bout my head
Mama say,
sit down & let me fix your crown
Mama say,
Don't ever let them ugly kids tip your crown
I called momma and told her what they said
Them kids was mean & they made my eyes red
I cried cause they was mean
And what they said hurt
But then I realized words are just words
Mama say,
Sit down baby let me braid your hair
Mama say,
Sit down, I got something I want you to hear
Baby girl, never be afraid to show who you are
Cause you mama's baby
Mamas little girl
Mama little star
I called momma and told her what they said
I told her how they said i had a nappy head
Mama say, baby they are nobodies
They're not on your level
Mama say, they'll always talk
Because I'm on a different pedestal.
Mama say, smile for me baby girl
I dont wanna see you down.
Mama say, this my world.
And I'm the one with the crown.
I called momma and told them what they said
I told her they joked that I wasnt being fed
Mama say,
them chunky kids always got some to say
Mama say,
Them kids be the main ones eating hay.
Mama say,
Baby stop letting those kids get in your ear
Mama say,
Baby come here so I can wipe ya tears.
Mama say,
Don't let nobody tilt my crown
Mama say,
Don't ever let these people see me frown
Mama fixed my hair and I felt pretty as ever
Mama say,
I got hair so long I could pass as a heather
Mama fixed my hair and adjusted my crown
Mama was right, they'll never see me frown.______________
This was off dome 🥰.
