A/N: Characters might be ooc, let's also pretend that some of the Free! characters are in the same high school: Shiratorizawa. It's only for the plot, so I hope that the readers won't mind:)

Today was finally the day I joined the club. I had to appear at morning practice so that I'll be a bit more energized. It was currently 4:00 in the morning, practice starts at 4:30. Early right? I didn't mind though, I've had way earlier trainings in my junior high days it was really calming since nobody usually practice this early.

I'm currently walking towards the indoor pool that's located near the Volleyball Gym. It was about a fifteen minute walk from the female dorms so I'm guessing that I'll be the first one to arrive. But boy was I wrong. 

I gently opened the doors of the building but to my surprise, there were already three boys present. One with straight black hair and blue eyes, and he's already wearing his swimming trunks. The other one with shaggy olive hair and green eyes, I assume he's attempting to stop the guy with black hair. And lastly, one with semi-long maroon hair, red eyes, and with shark like teeth, also in his swim trunks and is stretching.

They didn't seem to notice my presence yet so I headed towards the guy with maroon hair and lightly tapped his shoulder. 

"Ah sumimasen" he looked up at me and showed me a toothy smile. 

"Ah you must be the new member right? The transfer student from Aoba Johsai?" he asked

"Yup! That's me!" I giggled in excitement which caused the other two boys to turn towards me

"Aoba Johsai? Wait what's your name?" The guy with black hair asked

"Ah gomen, I haven't introduced my self yet." I said while I cleared my throat

"Konnichiwa! My name is Aone Y/n, you can call me Y/n for short! Nice to meet you guys, I hope we get along well. Please take care of me!" I said along with a bow at the end causing the two boys to giggle at my bubbliness except for the black haired boy though

"Y/n is that really you?" the guy with olive hair asked while grabbing my shoulders and examining my face

"Huh? have we perhaps met before?" I said while tilting my head slightly confused

"Don't tell me you don't remember me anymore?" He said while letting go of me and placed a hand over his chest with a hurt expression

"Ah gomen I don't really know who you are" I said while looking at him

"You don't remember your senpai who you always loved to compete with back in middle school?" He asked. I thought about it for a while, trying to refresh my memories back in middle school then it suddenly clicked

"Geh?! Makoto-senpai?!" I exclaimed while going in for a hug

"The one and only!" he said while hugging me back
