When King Alden arrived, he took one look at the state Biana was in, hugged her, and asked her,

"My darling, are you ok?"

"Yes, dad. I'm fine. Just a little shook up..." Biana answered, still shaking, pulling apart.

Keefe said to Biana, "Why don't you let me talk to the king, and you can go freshen up. In ten minutes I'll meet you back here and we can start our time together. Does that sound OK?"

"Yes. Sounds perfect." Biana said, giving her father a kiss on the cheek and starting down the hall to her room. However, she paused on the corner to eavesdrop.

"Your highness, there's been a incident..." Keefe was saying, "your daughter has been harassed by Prince Valin from Sweden. I personally witnessed the scene, and I have no other reason than to believe that Prince Valin should be disqualified from the choosing and go home immediately."

"Ahh...Prince Keefe, first it is my highest gratitude that you protected my daughter, and put her safety above your own. Between you and me, she will always be my first priority and I think very highly of you saving her like that. I agree with you and will summon Prince Valin home right away. However, let's just say my daughter gets worked up about things like this. Would you do me a favor, and try to get her mind off of the events of tonight? If that's not possible in 30 minutes, I can extend your time to an hour... if you'd like." the King said.

"It would be my honor to help her ignore everything that happened a few minutes ago. I will go get her and we will pretend this never happened." Keefe said.

"For you, Princess..." Keefe said handing her the rose.

"Oh Prince Keefe, it's beautiful! Thank you for tonight. I don't want to even think about what could of happened if you wouldn't have shown up. How did you know where to find me?" Biana asked putting the rose on her bed.

"I was waiting in the Grand Hall, and heard you scream. I ran to where I thought I heard you, and overheard yelling. From then, I walked in the room, and you know what happened after that. Are you sure you are alright? Did he... hurt you?" Keefe asked awkwardly.

Biana sighed. "He would have... Prince Keefe, I never want the feeling I had again. I was absolutely terrified!"

"With me around, you won't have to worry about that." he answered stepping closer to her.

"Better keep you around then," Biana teased. She blushed when Keefe smirked. She was starting to feel better already, "so...what's the plan?"

"Well, we know have an hour, due to change of plans. I was thinking, maybe a stroll along the beach, and then a moonlight picnic?" Keefe asked.

"That sounds fabulous to me." Biana answered. Keefe held out his arm, and Biana eagerly took it. They walked outside, and started off on the path to the ocean. They were halfway there when someone walked towards them. Biana clutched Keefe's arm and he instinctively stepped in front of her. With the shadows, it was hard to see who it was, but as the figure got closer, Biana recognized the handsome boy...
