The day went on and once the group was done at the mall they went their separate ways with Cherri and Pentious taking the pairing to the hotel.
Alastor would keep the necklaces a secret, for now; He'd managed to pick up something for this evening as did Angel. Although he wasn't sure what it was, Cherri seemed confident in her choice over it.
Among all of this, there was something he was forgetting. But he couldn't remember what.
As for the hotel, as Angel had mentioned it was extravagant far larger than the ones he'd seen and the rooms were nothing to sneeze at to put it lightly.
"—So then I told him, how DARE you point that at me. Do you know who I am? Then I shot him hahaha!" Pentious went on.
Alastor rolled his eyes at a table in the room. They were in Cherri and Pentious room currently, the women had dragged Angel into the bathroom with a bag. He assumed they wouldn't belong so returned to their own room to get dressed for the evening.
Between the two men, their attire was night and day. It was clear who was trying to stand out and who wasn't.
To put it simply, Pentious was in a very obvious white suit. Something out of a movie that he thought would be grand for the evening. In reality, it wasn't.
Alastor had dressed like he would back in New Orleans when attending a club. Black slacks, white button-down, and a fedora to match the pants. But he allowed the suspenders to show on his shirt this time.
Both of them stood out regardless of their clothing choice.
Pentious looked like he was going to a disco club and Alastor to a meeting or a sophisticated dinner.
He'd changed and returned to the room to see if the two were done. That was over two hours ago.
It was only nine in the evening so they had plenty of time, although he just didn't see the point in taking that long. It couldn't be that hard to dress a woman, could it?
"There was blood everywhere!" Pentious went on.
Of course, there was you shot a man.
Was what Alastor wanted to say but minded his tongue.
He was hardly paying attention to the man anyway as his mind was elsewhere right now. He couldn't get over how strange that occurrence at the mall was. The feeling in his chest just before he had a visual site on Angel. It was the same as this morning, feeling that warm sensation in his chest just before he saw Angel down the stairs.
It was something he couldn't comprehend, as if a mental block were there.
His attention shifted suddenly once the bathroom door opened.
He stared, unable to help but take in just how beautiful Angel was. The red dress that showed off his skin, how fitting red was on his beloved Angel, and how well the dress was. His blonde and brown fit nicely too with the hair down on his back. Of course, he had makeup on but it didn't mean much to Alastor. Angel was beautiful regardless of make-up.
