- Chapter 6 - A familiar Bident

3rd Person POV

"You came." Apollo greeted, Katherine who nodded. "Have you been crying?" he bent down as he caressed her cheek, a finger moving across her cheeks that were wet and the area around her eyes were puffy.

"No." she said shaking her head as she stepped back, away from the God who only seemed to frown.

"Am I late?" she asked, as he shook his head and offered his hand "I'll show you the way."

Arriving at the area, Apollo led her to the seats as she headed to the far side, from the other Gods and Goddesses who stared at them.

"Good luck" she said as she took a seat and her hand back "Do say the same thing to Hermes."

He nodded, bending down to grab her hand softly and leave a kiss on the back of it. She gave a nervous smile at him as he went somewhere, most likely to prepare.

She waited but it started sooner than expected, but she didn't mind. She needed something to distract her from Heron.

"The Great Champion, Apollo!" he appeared on his chariot being pulled by horses with manes of fire. He gave a charming smile and a wave, but Katherine noticed how his eyes met hers (even if it were closed, Apollo guessed their eyes met atleast.)

He stopped at the other side and the center of the area, stood the God of War who placed his helmet on "The Warrior, Ares!"

"Do not blink, lest you miss. . . Hermes!" Hermes turned to Apollo who nodded, he got into a position and ran.

He was fast that Katherine almost lost sight of him, her eyes quickly turned to Ares who had received a cut to his arm.

"Hiyah!" Apollo led his chariot towards Ares, who turned and ducked avoiding Apollo's sword by a hairline. Ares was smart and fast when he quickly turned and smashed the left wheel of Hermes Chariot.

The God tumbled to the ground, but stood up with a smirk as he jumped, clashing with Ares. Hermes zipped around them but Ares grabbed the God by his clothes and threw him at Apollo.

Both Gods were on the ground. But before the match went any further, Ares was the one who flew back when a lightning hit the ground just infront of him to knock him off. His helmet clattered on the ground.

Thunder rumbled when Zeus appeared just when Ares turned. "What did you tell your Mother!" Zeus yelled "You're the only one who knew where I was! What did you say?"

Katherine stood up, Hera knew?

Crows cawwed as Hera appeared, floating mid air as she said "Nothing I didn't already knew." Ares joined his supposed opponents for the match. Hera and Zeus left, yet the weather didn't improve as lightning continued to flash.

The wind picked up to as the thunder grew louder, and then it calmed down.

Her brows furrowed, it may have calmed down but the feeling in her stomach only worsened. It was when Hermes seemed to have found about something when he said "I'll meet with father."

Katherine who had joined Apollo and Hermes when Ares wandered somewhere off seemed to nod "I'll join you."

"Why don't you fix your chariot, Apollo." she said with a small smile at the two, their wounds have already been adressed as the God nod at the two.
